      We purchased a 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk in January 2023. It was advertised with no accidents (and a remote start, which it didn't have) and was confirmed by our salesman *** several times. After the purchase, we discovered quite a bit of hidden accident damage and it cost us over $2,000 to repair. Tyson Motors still refuses to pay the full reimbursement.

      The customer posting this review fails to mention that he purchased a used/pre-owned vehicle. The term used implies that a vehicle may have cosmetic blemishes and the price of the vehicle is assessed to include the used condition. At the time of purchase, the customer was provided with an industry standard AutoCheck history report which included vehicle maintenance reports and accident history. The vehicle showed no accident history. As the customer has never brought the Jeep back to Tyson, we cannot assess what claims he is making. The customer also fails to mention that he has presented multiple and varying body damage assessments during the past eight months of his ownership ranging from ***** to ***** dollars. Additionally, he does not mention that Tyson Motor, as an act of goodwill, sent this individual a check for over 500 dollars hoping for customer retention. This customers actions exceed what should be construed as a typical business transaction. The customer has gone as far as mailing his demands to the owners personal residence, as well as leaving voice mails claiming to visit the owners home. This level of conduct is unacceptable. In conclusion, the customer purchased a used vehiclenot a new one. The customer negotiated a purchase price, signed the purchase with an AS IS notification and signed a document which stated that Nothing Was Owed. The decision to repair a used vehicle without returning to a dealer lies solely with the new owner.

      ****************** charged me $1300 for a fuel tank that I did not need on my truck it did not solve the problem. And the service manager said that they were going off their technicians gut feeling. After asking multiple times for resolutions of this even contacting customer service Im still without any answer

      Also after numerous phone calls to try to get area managers phone number to contact that person was to no avail. Even had ram **************** call ******************** and try to get the area managers number and they will not give it to them I just think its very shotty work on how they deal with things I still feel I should not have to pay for a technicians gut feeling. I recommend not ever going to Tyson motors ever again for anything social media will be lit up with this

      It is offensive when a customer uses social media to threaten and coerce a business. It is especially offensive when inaccurate information is posted. These repairs occurred the first week of November of 2021. It is unknown why this customer has waited over four months to ******************************* can assure this customer that as an authorized *** franchised dealer, repairs are NOT made on gut feelings. As with all new vehicle dealerships, Tyson is required to follow processes and procedures established by the vehicle manufacturer for repairs. For this specific truck, The *** diagnostic processincluding filing TSBs and Star Caseswere followed. The manufacturer was involved in the repair process and *** recommendations were followed. There was never a gut involved. Following *** engineer recommendations, the fuel tank, fuel filler neck, and hose of the customers vehicle were replaced. All items were replaced at the recommendation of Stellantis Engineering.The customer also misrepresented the amount he paid AND he fails to mention what he received AT NO COST TO HIM. The service warranty for the truck had expired. In an attempt to assist this customer, his **** was credited and he received at no charge over $1,694 of parts and labor. He was also provided with a rental vehicle for days which his truck was in service. As his vehicle was not covered by any warranty, these items were provided as a good-will attempt to appease a former customer. As it appears that ********************** does not satisfy him, we recommend that he continue his discussions with *** ************* and find a different dealer.
