I first contacted this Aspen Dental in ******, ** back on January 25th of 2023 to inquire about a possible tooth problem that I might have and was looking to take care of before my vacation. As I talked to the person that worked in the billing department, I inquired if they accepted Delta Dental and she told me that they did. I proceeded to go in for a check up and was given estimates of what a deep clean (that I was told I needed done before any care could take place), a root canal, a crown, and two fillings would cost me out of pocket and what would be charged to my insurance. This is on estimates 1 and 2 in my documents provided. After getting done with paying the $1131 and all that work done, I get letters in the mail from Delta Dental saying that procedures and physicians weren't covered by my insurance and I owe more than what was discussed as shown in "Delta 1" which stated, "Dentist didn't provide Tax Identification Number, didn't include x-rays when they took them, etc." In "Aspen 1" it's shown how they provider recklessly cut into my gums as they were trying to rush this procedure in placing the crown on the 28th of February. They also recommended an endodontist do the procedure of the root canal and the crown do they could use up as much money as possible. Between the time of the letters from Delta Dental and the final procedures taking place from the beginning of February to the 28th of the month, I had contacted both Aspen and Delta Dental to inquire about the disputed claims and whether they actually accepted my insurance because I wasn't going to pay any more than I agreed to and Aspen assured me it was fine and they would work it out with Delta Dental. Now they're trying to stick me with a balance of $4000 when my pictures of my "claims" only show two claims were made and none of the backup tax information Aspen claimed to have provided was submitted. I paid what I owed for the service that was provided. I'm not paying any more that I was told.
