Sleep RX also known as Aura Healthcare is using deceptive business practices that I am reporting to the Better Business Bureau.Sleep RX contacted me multiple times explaining that insurance has already approved 100% payments for CPAP supplies which is a medical device for ******************** apnea.Not only were these supplies unnecessary, they are now harassing me and sending a $626.94 invoice to collections which will damage my credit.Business response

This customer was made aware of his insurance benefits and how they pertain to Durable Medical Equipment and Supplies. His insurance benefits are different for Durable Medical Equipment than they are for Supplies. His insurance rents Durable Medical Equipment at 100% for 13 months and caps on 04/19/2022. His insurance covers Supplies at 70% after the deductible has been met. He was informed of this multiple times. Furthermore, we have waived and written off certain charges at his request in the past in good faith. I can furnish a timeline of all of our interactions with this customer as we document everything in our software at Brightree.net.
