      The plastic legs failed and cabinets fell over. I called when I received my order and asked about the legs. I was told they have NEVER had a leg failure and cabinets could be setup as stand alone cabinets. After collapse of cabinets ( which was 100% leg failure) they did NOTHING to compensate me for cabinets or damage. They stated cabinets would not have collapsed if they were attached to wall, which is total bs. I have a recording of collapse. If they were attached to the wall the backs would have stayed on the wall and cabinets would have fallen. The backs job is not for strength but to square the cabinet. The insurance company knows I could not afford to fight them. ***** ( my salesman) was extremely helpful at first and promised to make things right. After insurance got involved due to the fact the cabinets fell on an airplane and did extensive damage, his tune changed and they claimed 0 responsibility. At a MINIMUM they should have replaced the cabinets. The best he could do was give me a discount on new order. People should know these are great looking cabinets with legs that should not be used in extreme temperatures like ******* where I live.

      Hello,
      I read the complaint and there are a few important details that are missing.

      The instructions on our website, along with instructions sent along with the cabinets require all cabinets to be attached to a wall, which was not done.  Page 8 of the instructions makes it very clear that attaching the cabinets should always be done, and then goes into detail on what type of screws to use for different situations.  

      He purchased (4)  86" tall cabinets and then stacked (4) 47" tall upper cabinets on top of them bringing the height to 11'1" (133") in total and they were not attached to a wall (or anything else for that matter).

      We have sold thousands of cabinets, over the years, which have stood the test of time when installed properly.

      Attached is the exact instructions sent with this order.

      I am rejecting this response because: I was told they could be free standing as it would be very difficult to attach them to the wall with any security. There is ONE thread on the female part of legs  I did not realize that when I installed cabinets. As **** stated and I was told they have never had a leg failure. I believe it was the extreme heat in my hangar that caused the legs to swell (as can be seen in the pictures). They will not accept liability for cabinets because then they may be responsible for over $70K worth of damage caused when cabinets  fell. This is a classic case of insurance knowing there is no way for me to fight them  if someone had been sitting in the chair they fell on every lawyer in the area would have wanted to take this case. But as is, they will not take the case as there is not enough money in it for them!

      Our instructions clearly say that they must be mounted to a wall, it even goes to the extent to tell they type of screws to use in a given situation.  We do not tell people that they can be free standing for this very reason... liability.  Again, keep in mind the tall cabinets had another cabinet on top of it so the total height was about 11'... 

      If *** would commit to commit to building a wall that is secured to the floor and the steel building, and attach the cabinets to the wall per the instructions, we would be willing to replace the cabinets at a significantly discounted price.

      I understand ***** frustration.  The situation is unfortunate.
