I came to *********************** Office from another location in Sleepy Hollow, when ******************, took maternity leave, & left me with upp. dentures so big & thick, that I could not close my mouth. The low. partial was made over remaining, moving teeth. At consultation with ************, in Elgin, I was promised:1. Redo the upp. denture with $3,611 credit 2. Removal of moving teeth 3. 4 Implants 4. New low. denture fixed on implants: total of $17,498 All services provided by ******** Dent. have failed me. I am unable to eat & speak. The upp. denture has no suction making chewing impossible. When I eat there is a loud clicking sound. The upp. denture is falling out & resting on the low. one. The finished denture was handed to me in a plastic bag by the receptionist with no align. or fit check. The following appt. ************ came in angry, saying he will not be making any more corrections & stormed out. I requested another Dr, and was given *************************. I came in with my daughter. He immediately became aggressive, refused to address me directly & spoke to only to my daughter.Finally, he did offer to make adjust. to upp. denture & replace screws in the implants. On a follow-up appt, neither the upp. nor the low. dentures were holding up. Asked about his solution to the problem, Dr. said he was dismissing me from the practice, & neither he nor ************ wanted to see me. I can't eat, taste food, or go in public for fear that my teeth are clicking & falling out. Being diabetic, I've been struggling with sugar level maint. because of my inability to chew. I'm frightened & exhausted. I believe the only solution is to have the up. dentures remade & explore my options for either repair. or remaking the low. ones by another Practice. I am asking for a refund of $8,161 I paid $17,498.00 to ********************* and ************************* The cost of tooth extraction, ********************** done by ************, which I am willing to cover was $12,948 ($17,498-$12,948=$4550 $4550+$3611=$8,161
