    We paid **** $4,600 to train our two dogs in August 2023. We met with **** twice before boarding our dogs to share our hopes for training and outline clear goals. We even provided **** with a detailed list of unwanted behaviors and objectives for the training. We were told that our concerns would be no problem and that they had worked with dogs like ours before. They stated that there was no time limit to their program and our dogs would return home from the program once they felt that they were adequately trained. This is the whole basis for their program. We dropped our dogs off with **** on 8/10/23 for a board and train program. We received only two or three updates from **** while our dogs were boarded for 21 days. After 21 days, we were told they were trained and ready to come home. We planned to pick our dogs up on 8/31/23. Upon arrival at the **** facility, it was clear our dogs had not received ample training. They were told to hold a climb command but immediately ran to us. The trainers were unable to demonstrate any commands they had taught our dogs or any leash manners. They were immediately embarrassed and stated we could do follow up training to remedy the lack of obedience. We had a difficult time scheduling with SKF9, but we did do 2 follow up trainings along with additional boarding time (1 week) for one of our dogs in which again, there was zero improvement on our outlined goals. Then, **** stopped responding to our emails. We eventually requested a partial refund, and were denied. We outlined our concerns with them, but they decided to stop responding to us. All in all, we boarded our dogs for 28 days with this business and did two follow up trainings but did not see any improvement on a single one of our goals. This business does not appropriately communicate with their clients and completely stopped responding when trying to remedy our issue. Its clear our dogs were not trained at the SKF9 facilities and they are not taking responsibility.

    Our beloved 2 year old ***********************, *****, DIED under the watch of this horrific company. Several months ago, I reached out for nothing else but to try and get *****'s collar back. We have not heard back.Before dropping ***** off for his 2 week stay at ****, I spoke with ***** to try to communicate my anxiety about leaving him for 2 weeks. Any dog owner knows the anxiety of leaving your dog in someone else's hands for the first time. I tried to communicate the issues he may have. I was looking for reassurance and comfort. To trust he was in good hands. I was pretty much laughed at and because of my naivety on the subject, I told myself that they knew best and tried to let it go.Upon nervously checking in on Day 2, I got a one-sentence email response telling me "***** is fine." Nothing more. I was horrified at their lack of consideration and empathy. I should have known then.What we can't wrap our heads around is the fact that they called to tell us we lost ***** and never heard from them again. The only follow up was to send a video of him collapsing in his crate as a tactic to save themselves.The lack of communication from Day 1 is just purely shameful. The lack of empathy since that horrific call is something we will never be able to understand. Unhuman. As we have grieved our best friend and let our anger subside, we've waited to hear back from them after simply asking for his collar back. There has been nothing. The only thing they ever cared about was the safety of their company and ensuring we don't ruin it. Covering all their bases. Shifting the blame to someone else-- our wonderful breeder-- anyone but them. Best to disappear and pray this passes, than to show a little care for your clients.I hope and pray that God forbid this ever happens again, they can react appropriately as a reputable company with integrity should be expected to and that no one ever has to go through what my husband and I did.
