I received an invoice from this company for $59 with a billing date of 2-26-2023. It was addressed to ***** Construction which was rebranded and legally changed to ****************** in 2018. I have no record of making an advertising agreement with this company but this looks to be a recurring monthly charge. I have called the phone number on the invoice but never have had someone answer the phone, I have emailed the company disputing the charges and/or asking for the ad purchase agreement but have not received a response on any front. Seems very fraudulent and I would normally through it in the trash but I don't want to rack up charges for something they feel I owe them money on.Initial Complaint

Signed up for Quadcites Dispatch Argus online Newspaper wanting to follow local news from my hometown.Had difficulty logging into access online newspaper. **************** Support is limited to a single call center representative in *******? When I called to cancel my subscription, I was told by the ** Representative that he had canceled my subscription and my credit card but could not provide me with ANY kind of confirmation number, phone contact or reference due to Lee Enterprises information policy. What kind of business does this?Making it impossible to confirm your transactions? This new world order of corporate conglomerates taking over local businesses and acting like they car about your interests is repulsive and very upsetting.When advertising your local newspaper online, they should clarify their is no local contact for your local concerns.I had a terrible experience as an online customer and will never subscribe to a local paper again without having a local human customer service office or center that I can do business with. HUMAN LIVES & JOBS MATTER! A.I. should always include a direct line that is accessible to a HUMAN BEING!Will a human take down this response or will a computer vet my complaint?Guess this is the world we live in!Keep humans apart of our planet!Aloha! ***
