I purchased a solera slide topper for my Rv on March 24th, 2024. I waited until closer to the end of May to actually install it but never removed it from its packaging or anything. Installed the product easily no problems as we have done this and used these toppers prior with no issue. For some reason within a matter of weeks this one had ripped from the camper. I have tried on several occasions and used different methods to contact the company, i have gotten no response whatsoever from them. This is a very bad display of craftsmanship on their part as well as professionalism to not even contact a customer back after paying that much for a product that couldn't even last one camping trip. I would appreciate a phone call from this company.Initial Complaint

7 July 2023 I purchased a brand new transcend travel trailer. On 28 July while on vacation the awnings material failed at the seam where it attaches to the trailers roof. Maximum reported winds that day were 15 mph. The awning has a one year warranty that they are failing to honor. Furthermore, there has been a recall on similar awnings that were produced during the same time frame. I attempted to resolve with the company but they refused to honor their warranty. Case number *******, and the recall I am referencing is NHTSA Recall Number: 22V-603 Lippert Solera Awning Weld. The defect involves the welded seam at the fabric to vehicle interface separating on Lippert Solera awnings up to 18 foot in length. In extreme cases the fabric could detach from the vehicle rail and remain attached to the awning frame. This recall should be extended to the 20ft awnings!Initial Complaint

Contacted Lippert regarding the frame in our 2021 travel trailer bulging. This is a common issue in our travel trailer as we are part of a ************** where so many have posted the exact issue. Lippert claims that cannot help/ support the fix due to ** being the second owner. The trailer is less than two years old, we bought it from original owner 5 months after they purchased new. How can they not stand behind their product for a KNOWN issue. Very disappointed. I made a post about this on **************s and have heard from second owners that fought Lippert and eventually were accommodated with the repair. I would love assistance in getting the repair approved and fixed by Lippert. Thank you!Initial Complaint

Lippert is working my insurance company as a provider of repairs. They were sent out to my rv in March 2022 and have since not filed a report with progressive. Progressive have sent emails, I have left numerous phone messages and emailed them as recently as two days without without any response. My insurance will not move forward without their report and without their report, my rv is classified as totaled. Any other shop has marked my rv totaled and refuses to work on it. Progressive wants to prevent paying out for a totaled claim and is waiting for lippert. My original claim was reopened in January 2022 originally claimed in 2020.Initial Complaint

My RV came with a backup camera from Lippert. This unit is subject to numerous complaints. Containing a wireless standard from ****; it is incapable of maintaining a stable connection over even a short distance. Issues include extremely low resolution, a pink cast over the image, and connection drops. Owners, myself included, have been promised a software update that will fix these issues; going back to at least June of 2021. No such update has been provided. At any rate; a software update is not going to solve the hardware issue of using ******b. I attempted to contact the manufacturer and was told I would receive a response on Monday. It is now Thursday night, and they did not reply to a follow up email. Its apparent that this manufacturer is producing manufactured waste. A product not actually intended to be used by the customer; but a placeholder that exists so that an RV can be marketed as containing a particular feature, but expecting the owner to then buy an upgraded version from the manufacturer. No competent engineer wouldve developed a wireless camera with ******b as the wireless standard. I strongly suspect the pink cast is not a software issue, but a hardware issue as well. The issue is not that this is a cheap, low quality product. The issue is that the product does not work at all; and it is my belief based on consistent consumer feedback available all over the web that the manufacturer did not INTEND for this product to work. Consumers should be aware of this dishonest practice when making a purchasing decision.
