I put a deposit of $300.00 down to purchase a 2007 Chrysler 300c for $4700.00 on 2/22/2024. During the time i place the deposit the car was vandalised on their property along with multiple other vehicles. my car specifically all tires were slashed, driver side mirror was busted off and back drivers side tail light. the company assure me they would have everything replaced they just needed to wait for an insurance adjuster to come out and document what happened. they received the insurance check and got used tires on the car ( the originally tire had alot more tread) and order a plate mirror not the whole mirror that the frame of was busted. less than 24hr after having the car it broke down in the middle of the road do to something going on with oil pressure not idling correctly. i reached out to the dealer ship ( within 5days)and they told me thats what i get from purchasing a used car and they would not help fix or give and money back. its not even enjoyable to drive since i am only able to drive the car for 10mins without it dying due to the oil pressure. I have since replace mirror, tail light, o2 sensor , oil change ($150), oil pump, timing chain( total of $416) and now i am completely rebuilding the motor ($596)because it is NOT drivable. i have over $1100 in parts alone plus paying to have these parts done which is about $1500. I am not asking for the $4700 i paid for the car but i do want reimbursed for all the parts. it hasnt even been 30days and i still am waiting on a title an am in $2600 in parts and labor and $4700 in a vehicle the ***** ********* at $4300 on a high end.Business response

Ms.****** came and test drove a 2007 chrysler 300 with 195,922 miles. She negotiated pricing of the car. The chrysler was listed at $5,000. She paid 4700 Out the door including tax title and plates fees. She purchased the vehicle As Is and was comfortable with her purchase, since her father who she mentioned was her mechanic inspected it for her and agreed it was a good car.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
this is not the warranty they advertised in the car. I have photos of the one that was place in the window upon purchaseInitial Complaint

The company sold me a lemon and it broke down completely 13 days after purchase. The vehicle was listed for $4500 and I paid $3000 with a balance of $1500 owed but the car is not running at all and has had issues since the first day of purchase. All resolutions offered so far would be a greater cost to me, monetary and physical inconvenience, and are unfair compromises for everything I’ve gone through since the car stopped on June 26th Since then I’ve spent money on tow fees, ***** due to the inconvenience, and much more. I just simply want the company to come take their car and refund my money ASAP.Business response

Ms. ******* purchased a vehicle that was sold "AS IS" Due to the mileage. When she took possession of the vehicle i was told my the customer and her S/O that the car was driving great (they drove it on the highway) and drove it every single day. After hearing of her car not working and also being told that she did not do any maintenace on the car(oil change, fluid top off etc) i offered to put her in a different car and she would pay the remaining ($1500) owed and the tax title and plate fees(state mandatory) in exchange for a$ 3500 vehicle. Ms.******* declined. I then offered to use the ($1500) balance that she owed to repair the vehicle and she could give me the $300 that remained acter her repair. She also declined. Used vehicles are not "Lemons" and her car is repairable. She simply doesnt want to get it repaired nor does she want a different car. These options where a courtesy to her. Not an obligation as she did sign a buyers guide stating the vehicle was as is.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The business was notified that I did perform all maintenance asked of me. I also followed up with their mechanic multiple times throughout this process and did everything asked of me. The business did not give a satisfactory response to any of this and the “compromises” presented by the business were still an unfair advantage to me.
