On June 14, 2022 BBB received a call from a consumer in Alabama stating that she purchased Shiatzu puppies from a company recommended by her cousin via Facebook Messenger. She paid Marco Henderson, company contact, $150 with and Apple gift card. According to the consumer Mr. Henderson arranged for the puppies to be shipped from Illinois to Alabama via a company called Safe Pet Delivery Logistics, with a reported location of Corporate Ct. Springfield, Il 62703. BBB Google mapped the address and the search returned a FED EX building. The consumer said she was corresponding with the shipping company via email @ [email protected] because she was not provided with a phone number. The consumer claimed she had given the shipping company nearly $1,000 so far and they were still requesting more money to ship the puppies.

BBB conducted a search for the company via the internet and no website was found nor any other information for the company or the company contact. Court records and a real estate search were also performed for the county of Sangamon, Il and no results were found. According to the Illinois Secretary of State’s website, Safe Pet Delivery Logistics is not registered with them.

To date, BBB sent correspondence requesting more information about the company and the status of the puppies to 600 Capitol Court Springfield, IL 62704 and [email protected] but has not received a response or any mail returned to sender. Additionally, BBB is unaware if the consumer received the puppies or a refund because BBB has been unable to reach the consumer to verify.
