On 11/3 I walked into your facility w/ a newborn puppy that I had been nursing around the clock every 2 hours for 58 hours. I explained earlier that day she was at ********** Vet Clinic w/ the exact issue. I realize going to a Emergency Vet I would be paying inflated prices, what I didn’t realize is going to a Emergency Vet I would be met by someone who had absolutely no intent in aiding me with this pup! I knew she had pneumonia she was in the exact same condition earlier that day. ********** Vet treated her with oxygen, torbugesic, sub q fluids and fuosemide and fed her while I was there and I left their office with clavacillin to continue to fight for her! I also left their office with a puppy that no longer had labored breathing. She needed oxygen and a vet willing to go the extra mile and buy her time in hope the antibiotic would cure her and you informed me the best thing for her is to euthanize. I asked if you could repeat what she had formerly done and I was told too much lasix can damage her kidneys and that you wouldn’t, that you could admit her and keep her in oxygen. I asked if we can we give her a hour on oxygen, and explained she needs fed again, she should of been fed while I was sitting in the waiting room and you tell me you wouldn’t feed her w/ labored breathing! While I didn’t go to vet school I do know a puppy that age needs to be fed every 2 hours, I just spent 58 doing that and all you were willing to do is place her in oxygen and wait for her to die from pneumonia, dehydration, or euthanize her? It’s now very clear to me that no two vets are equal, I was warned earlier that I could go to your facility, but they doubt you would feed her every 2 hours like she needed. What I wasn’t warned about was I would receive zero aid in trying to save her, Your time and lack of effort wasn’t worth the less than 3 minutes you spent with her or I. I highly suggest retirement in your case, maybe it will save the next puppies life!
