Received a verbal quote on moving a double-wide mobile home of $7500, once I purchased the home the price went way up to $12,500. After several negations, we settled on $8000 and I had to dismantle the interior and exterior marriage line as well as assemble at new location, which was included in original $7,500 estimate. Home was moved to my property temporarily awaiting new lot prep. When they came to do final move, they demanded more money $1,400 although I have a contract showing paid in full. Owners wife claimed she didn't know we had to move temp, although ***** and I talked about this several times. They finally moved the home to the new lot, however they have not set the home and have left it split apart for several days, very risky!! Moved on Friday, said they be there Saturday, no show, said Monday, no show, said Tuesday afternoon, no show, it is Wednesday no call no show. Currently Only plastic between the two halves to keep thugs out, home is split approx 10 feet apart. I have called, messaged, etc.... They damaged the home getting stuck in ditch they tried to cross with out any mats laid down, leaving multiple ruts. Every time they work, they show up mid day, never early start, completely unorganized fiasco every step of the way. I have also discovered they are not insured and do not have a license to do this type work. When I asked where the rest of the crew was, the owner stated "turns out if you don't pay em they don't show up". Openly admitted he is not paying his staff. At this point I have had to reach out to another moving company to finish the job. I paid in full back in September, it is now December.
