On or about August through October 2021 I visited this ******************** I offered and they accepted my *** student insurance, and I paid the amount of money they asked for at the time of service. Subsequently, as we discovered later, the office failed to file claim with my insurance for at least 6 months - well after I graduated and left town. As such, I never received a statement, or Explanation of Benefits stating that I owed them money. I had no way of knowing the amount of money the office would later charge, and continued making the requested copayments. On or about Summer of 2022, we began receiving statements by mail that I owe the office $682.41. We spoke repeatedly with the office to get clarification, and the billing person admitted that their billing 'is in chaos' and that the previous person was no longer with the office. On 11/14/22 or thereabout, I received an email from a collection agent. This referral to collections is full of errors, and is little more than a continuation of the fraud and deceptive business practice by Olympia Chiropractic / dba ********************** taking advantage of a young college student.
