******************** story changes as the days go on.
1 - **************** has NEVER spoken to **********************! I, however, have spoken to him- *********************** - as well as my Service Manager *******
2 - Both of us asked **************** to bring the vehicle to us, or, if he preffered, we could tow it in - at our expense
3 - **************** wanted an answer as to what the problem was before he brought the vehicle in - we can not diagnosis a problem without seeing the vehicle.
4 - If **************** had the vehicle towed over to the dealership at his expense he could have just as easily had it towed to us
5 - The transmission we rebuilt was brought to us out of the vehicle and was then picked up from us and installed in the vehicle by another shop - I have never seen the vehicle - therefore I have no way of saying that the vehicle he brought to the dealership has the transmission in it that we rebuilt.
6 - **************** ws NEVER refused any warranty - until he claimed that the dealer worked on the transmission after us.
To put it simply, I cannot do warranty work on a vehicle if I do not have the vehicle to work on. Moreover, it is impossible for me to verify that the vehicle **************** brought to ***************** is the same vehicle that he put the transmission in. The only thing that was denied to *************** was an over-the-phone diagnosis. We offered *************** the option to have us do any repairs that would have been covered under his warranty, and he instead elected to bring his vehicle to a different shop; a vehicle that I have never seen with a transmission that I cannot verify as having been worked on by me. Mr. ******* perspective is repugnant to the reality of the situation and his continued efforts to stain the character of my shop, my techs, and myself is an utter disgrace.

I have satisfied two contracts with Uhaul. I have called the business because I am getting emails and text messages that I owe additional charges. The staff checked my accounts and state there are no more charges. On 2/10/22 at 8:30 PM they attempted to withdraw $115 from chase bank account. It was denied and now I have to get a new card. There should not be anymore charges I would like this resolvedBusiness response

Let me first start by apologizing to ******* for it getting this far to start with. I should have been informed of this situation and her concerns / problems with the credit card when she called our office the second time. My deepest apologies.
As an independent UHaul Dealer, we do not have access to our customer's credit card information - meaning that the card info is put in under the contract of that vehicle and when the vehicle is brought back, the system puts the charge thru - we can not pull credit card info after that happens.
I reviewed the UHaul Contract that ******* referenced and she is absolutely correct. Her contract was closed and all charges were paid and satisfied with our location.
As far as the charges then that she is seeing on her credit card, I can not see what that is for or why. However, I called my Area Field Manager - who works for *************** and he does see where *************** out of ******* ******* has tried to charge her credit card. This charge could be for a number of things - ie. tolls, parking tickets, red light tickets, speeding tickets, past due amounts from previous rentals, etc... I have no way of finding that out. However, I have spoken to the customer, given her my deepest apologies and provided her with the phone number to Corporate Uhaul Credit **************************** **************. They will be able to provide her the information that she is looking for and help answer all her questions.
If there is anything I can do to be of further assistance in this for the customer please let me know.
