The issues started after one Saturday when I called Brightstar to inform them that we will be putting services on hold temporarily until after the holiday. The receptionist said ok. And that was it. The following Monday a caregiver was still sent to my home. I did not let the young lady in because I specifically told them I didn't want to receive services until after the holiday. The caregiver said ok ill call them. Shortly after, I was charged for that visit. So I called and emailed ***** the person in charge of payroll and billing. First he said that I didn't give them a 2 hr notice. Which I did.He said that he would reach out to the young lady that answered my call. He then asked me to screenshot the call history to him. I emailed the screenshot. He replied that the person that answered my call said that I didn't cancel services and that I just simply asked how many hours in advance to cancel a shift. And that she supposedly told me 2 hours and I just replied ok. I told him that that was NOT TRUE AT ALL! He told me that it was out of his hands and he would let the owner know. Nobody got back to me for weeks so I decided to email them again. This time the owner told me that he spoke with me and it was nothing he could do because I did not report the change within 2 hours of the shift. He started sending me wording of their client policy. I told him that it wasn't my fault that the person on call failed to report this change. Especially since I told them 2 days in advance. The on call receptionist sounded as if she she was half sleep and maybe that was the case as to why she forgot. I told him that as well. I asked was it any way we can settle this matter. Like either refund me or send out a caregiver for the date that I was charged. He said No. As if He didn't care about me or my 84 year old grandmother as a client. They had no compassion about the situation. Therefore I just told him that I will no longer do business with them anymore.Customer response
