      Worst customer service experience ever! We never took the equipment out of the box. It took a bit of time for our IT to figure out what we needed and by then we were barely past a return date. It took several MONTHS of calling the company as they said we needed an approval to return it and once was told they would "escalate" our claim. I was told that "***" would be our rep and we received zero response from him. Several times we called and the system would put us on hold and then eventually disconnect the call. Finally we got the approval to return, but was charged a 15% restocking fee because we were past 30 days. This was over a $3000 product! I paid for re-packing (because the outside box it came in was damaged when it arrived) and insurance to return as I did not trust this company to acknowledge they received the shipment. A return minus a restocking fee did show up on our credit card. Phew! I have no positive recommendation here.

      ********** Ordered a Surface from them. We didn't open the box for more than a week due to our IT guy being on vacation. We reported the Surface had a cracked screen 17 days after the unit arrived. The report was sent on their website and I received no response for over a week so i had to call them. I called the number on the email and after being disconnect 3 times finally got a person. She told me I had to talk to my Salesperson. I didn't even know I had a salesperson, she didn't ask him to call me I had to reach out to him after 2 more days. His response was you are over the 15 days we allow sorry nothing we can do. Actually his return email said I was over 30 days which I responded no it was 17 days. He never responded to my actual details of the shipment. I guess I will take my 25 Surfaces and 35 other tablets to somebody that gives a **** because CDW doesn't. Yes the totals above are accurate as we are moving to a paperless environment and need that equipment over the next 6 weeks. Customer service is not hard this salesperson who I have never spoke to or dealt with is awful and if he worked for me he would be terminated. One for not reaching out to his clients EVER and two for being just a jerk when a question was asked of him.

      The owner of this company must read these reviews how poor are their customer services. First of all, this is my first time leaving a review in BBB and decide to post because this company problem is super serious. My account manager '*****************' never respond on my emails, phone, voicemail anything. Yes, she is my company's designated account manager but I've never talked to her since I started using them. Can you believe this? never being contacted with my sales manager??The only reason I am still purchasing thru CDW.com is because of another person '*******************', who is most helpful of this company.(perhaps only helpful person of this company)Every time I try to request live chat, I get stand by with cue and always being terminated at the end before connected to an agent. When I speak to a representatives, 9/10 are not supportive and rude. Of course, there are some good employees but very few. The company seriously need to educate employees how much this is important being helpful to the customers. I had an experience of customer services job when I was young and I am also insensitive person so always trying to understand about the stress of their role but I think CDW went too much. Not just a month, or a year, They were same as this OVER 6-7 years. I am considering to find a replacement company now even though our vendor registration process is complicated.. Just don't want to get a stress from where I purchase products.

      No support. Worse than that, if you call with a question, they will transfer you from person to person and department to department until you give up in frustration. Avoid doing business with this company.

      put in order for ***** license. No communication in 2 weeks, no license numbers issued.. Caused my networks to shut down due to lack of license. Terrible customer service.

      bought an ***** product. called to request a return, agent said sure, you withing the window but we need to put in a request. 2 weeks pass no word, 3 weeks pass I call you need to speak to your customer service agent. I leave a voicemail, no return call, send an email no response, send a second email and i get a 2 sentence response stating your return can't be processed because of third parties. no explanation nothing. i was never updated by CDW or this "customer rep" named ***************************. During this process of not hearing a word a new model was released, most likely why they decided to not respond and hold up the process.

      Attempted to place an order through their website for 14 units of specific extension cables, website stated they were full in stock so we placed an order. After placing the order we received an email that they did not have those items in stock (RED FLAG 1: they don't update their website), so we asked to cancel the order. RED FLAG 2: Six months later we were charged full price for the order we cancelled and were shipped the 14 cables. We told them we cancelled the order and they still charged us. After weeks of trying to get this resolved, they agreed to accept a full return of the items, shipping included. We shipped the items back, received a refund but were still charged for shipping which I had to find out via my bank account, RED FLAG 3: they will not inform you they are charging you, this is stealing as we never wanted or intended to keep these items and don't currently have these items. They have since halted communication and I want to refute the shipping charge but can't through my bank because it was a partial refund so I was charged by CDW for absolutely nothing except trouble. RED FLAG 4: they shipped items out SIX MONTHS after we cancelled our order, our jobs finish within weeks so they hurt our business! We will NEVER buy through CDW again and tell all our clients and companies we work with to purchase through any other company BUT CDW. They should not be allowed to be in commerce if they treat people like trash, I attempted to leave a ****** review but for some reason I can leave one for any other company but CDW... RED FLAG 5

      Have purchased from this company for 22 years up till now. After making negative comments to my CDW sales rep about Chicagos crime, homelessness and other issues of a politcal nature in casual conversation, the sales manager called my boss came up with an salacious lie and made it sound like I said all these horrible things, speaking disparagingly of people of a lesser status, etc, etc. Do not do business with these people.

      Live chat - started in queue as #**, waited 40 minutes or so and got down to #6 - then got knocked out. Restarted. Started @ **:01PM in the queue as #**, 5 hours later, I was "next in queue", Yay, right? At 5:29, 5.5 hours of waiting it stated, "this session has ended". They must have closed. No matter, it shouldn't have taken 5.5 hours to get to that point!       CDW signed me up to a mailing list without my consent. They are an I.T. solutions company and I have absolutely nothing to do with I.T. so why did I even end up on this list when my email isn't even published. There needs to be stricter rules preventing companies like this from signing individuals up for their B2B spam without the sole decision to opt in.
