I recently sent a complaint to ****************************** about ruining (and having to discard) a hamburger because their pepper bottle had the wrong lid that did not sprinkle some pepper but drowned my food with a thick layer of pepper. Their response (below) did not apologize or offer to reimburse the cost of the ruined burger and toppings. From the response, I have to conclude that ***************************** does not care about customer satisfaction or their reputation--sad! The lid on my brand new bottle does not have the normal small holes, but has the large holes (probably for pepper flakes instead of ground pepper.) I ruined my fresh hamburger with a layer of black pepper. I was not amused--especially with the price of ground beef these days. .I couldn't find any info about a batch number or anything else to help you track down and fix the problem (recall?) What I did find on the neck of the bottle was "BEST BY JUL 05 25 H ****."
