This is actually for my friend who is a current employee. It must be done this way since you won't allow employees to get past the first page. A multitude of problems here. This business seems to be going down in flames. It's a toxic work environment. They can barely hold onto employees, they are dropping like flies right now, they don't appreciate good and hardworking employees, in fact: they stress them out with extra work, they don't communicate too well with their employees, sometimes they're out of the loop until the very last minute, or unless they ask about current news directly, they do not get paid for safety meetings, they play favorites often, management seems to have personality disorders: They will listen to your complaints a lot but nothing gets done about it. The only time they along with you is if you're quiet and say nothing. There are old men who work there that think they can sexually harass the women who also work there and get away with it all the time. They've been told to stop and yet they continue to do so. Even if you aren't a part of the union, you still have to pay union dues for some reason. Also, how in the heck did my friend end up paying bills later when she had health insurance through her job at Durham? And another thing... a crime happens last March in that yard at the ***** location ***************** (catalytic converters were stolen from buses) and they DIDN'T think to question the mechanics first??? I don't think this company is going to prosper much longer if you can't get people to want to stay and work there for the long haul. People are complaining that the head guy doesn't resolve issues. Also, this place may be sexist. She needed a DA for another run and no one would give it to her but when she changed runs and a man took over, all he had to do was say something to the principal about the bad children and they gave him a DA. She had to beg and plead with the school district for this issue to be resolved and never was.
