The complaint was he wanted half down first and he would finish the other half. He left his equipment at my residence through the winter on my lawn. Then he would call me at work and he need the other half of the cash for hunting, or Christmas. I gave him half of that which was $600 or $700 He said he would come back in March to water the plants. He was suppose to come back this month to finish the job. I contacted him this month and he stated that he did not want to deal with me. I want him to refund me my money in the amount of $1900 including damages of parking his **** ***** in my lawn, and breaking my ******* ****** **** Statue.

The only work that was not completed was putting in the plants due to cold weather. The contract stated that half was required to start the job and the other half was required when the work was completed. When everything was done she didn’t have the other half of the money to pay so since we had to wait to complete the plants till spring I agreed to let her make payments through the winter but she never paid anything. When spring came around she stated she had to wait on her tax return to pay the remaining balance. After she paid she kept changing her mind on what plants she wanted and it took so long that by the time we ordered the heat moved in and had to wait till fall to plant. The equipment was only there while the work was being completed and then taken back to our shop. I have witnesses that will testify to this. The statue was moved to her garage while the work was being done. When we went to put the statue back I went to pick it up and part of it broke while being lifted. Her husband was standing right next to me when this happened. It broke due to being an old concrete statue that finally just had a failure in the concrete. I got supplies and fixed the statue for the customer for just the price of the supplies. I have offered to return the money of the plants in the contract to be done with the customer but is now trying to get everything done for free after contacting the police and filing this report. No damage was done to her yard while equipment was there for maybe a couple weeks due to weather. I will only agree to refund the amount for the plants in the contract
