      I bought 2 books on 12/5 (Order ******** from Alibris.com) and the items were allegedly shipped on 12/6. I contacted them for a tracking # and they responded with a nonresponse. They never responded to a 2nd email. Magically a tracking # comes up for 1 item on 12/14, and it still hasn't made it to ***** Another tracking # comes up on 12/20 for the other book, and it still hasn't made it to ***** I think they are fake tracking #s. If you look at trust pilot...the reviews are congruent with mine. They are fraudsters.

      I have attempted to contact great prive books ************** and no luck . They refuse to refund my money even though I never received my book. A company should be responsible for making sure customers receive merchandise and follow through if they dont.This company does not care and has had me Doing all the work.

      I bought a book from the seller on **** on August 11th 2022, on the 15th I noticed I have not received the book and realized that it would arrive in September 9th. Immediately I contacted the seller to cancel the sale (email) they refused and mailed it. I asked to return the book. **** issued a barcode to take it to the post office. I bought the book from another seller for $13 +$4 taxes. I got theirs a week earlier eventhough I bought it a week later. Finally I received the book from great book price on the 24th I returned the book on the 25th the seller received it on the 26th. **** issued a Refund for $6 charged $12 for shipping. Imagine I paid $18 for the book and received $6 back, all this could be avoided if only they had responded to my email and canceled the sale. My advice everyone to stay away from this business they are on ****, Amazon, ****** and *****. If not check their Yelp reviews (horrible)

      I placed an order for a book with GreatBookPrices1 on ***** and during the order process ***** which recognized me as an account holder, furnished the seller with an outdated mailing address before I could identify and attempt to rectify the problem. I IMMEDIATELY contacted the seller via ****** communication platform and asked them to change the mailing address to my current place of residence. I then was treated t oseveral deflective email replies, all suggesting that they could not change the address, nor were they willing to cancel the order. Their claim was that the item would ship, potentially bounce around the system, and potentially return to them, at which point they would issue a refund. In their final communique, I saw the fine print below:It is imperative you include your transaction or order number as shown above to guarantee your return is processed as quickly as possible. Returns that do not include the transaction or order number may take an additional week to process. Send the item(s) back to us so we receive them undamaged within 30 days of received date. Be sure to purchase tracking and/or insure when shipping your package in order to get your money back from the shipping company if it is lost or damaged. Also, please allow your return enough mail delivery time to reach us. Shipping and handling charges, for returning the item, are the responsibility of the buyer. We do not accept packages marked return to sender. Any postage fees incurred due to packages sent return to sender, refused, undeliverable or deemed to have an insufficient address by the carrier will be deducted from the buyers refund.The prospect of suffering punative damages, in the form of an incomplete refund for the purchase has me incensed. I cannot understand how this is a fair business practice.Estimated delivery: Wed. Feb. 2 - Mon. Feb. 7 Tracking number: ********************** Order number: **************

      As ************ outlined, we did have an issue with the first representative incorrectly answering his query.  Additionally, as he outlined, we are not allowed to change the ship to address as outlined by ****** policies for 3rd party vendors.  Lastly as he had outlined, the order did ship before we could cancel the order.  The order did deliver to the original address on Jan 29th.

      I ordered the book blue nights and the order was approved. Then later the next day they cancelled my order and increased the price around 3x the amount. They did this because they realized they could get more money. But where I come from if you post the price and accept it the deal is done. This is an unacceptable practice. Ive no desire to trade with them again but I also want them to be fined or punished for poor business practice. Use the fine to buy books for public libraries

      After some research we found the customer's order dated 12/23/2021, on the website abebooks.com.  We have a very small window in which we can allocate and ship an order from Abebooks.com (their protocols), it appears within the window allotted we could not find an open warehouse (due to the  holidays) that could ship the order within the required window so the order was cancelled.
