On March 28, 2022, we signed a contract for a tear off and replace roof project with Illinois Roofmasters LLC which included a no leak roof guarantee for 10 years. They were paid a total $14,839.78 and the project was complete in June, 2022. Within a year we were getting water behind the wall in the utility room which came from leaks around the dryer vent on the roof. Calls to Illinois Roofmasters went to vm and unanswered. I got a hold of a contractor who worked with Illinois Roofmasters. He came out and noted the tin boot around the vent was outside of the shingles and it wasn't sealed properly. He repaired the area but we still have damage to the wall in the utility room. On May 15th, 2024 we had another heavy storm which created a stream to come through the front bedroom ceiling. The water damage in the attic showed a path to the valley in the roof above the garage. Again, several calls to Illinois Roofmasters went to vm and unanswered. I finally got through to ******************* who said he would get a service tech out to the house to inspect the issue. He said he wanted to "make it right." *********** tech never came out. I contacted the contractor who came back out and found a nail in the valley that was out of place (which should have been caught when the roof was replaced). He said **** was going to order shingles and whatever else that is needed for the repair. Here we are 3 months later and several call attempts later and nothing is being done. I just want some help to get **** to stand by his "make it right" statement and repair my roof which is covered by the warranty anyway.Initial Complaint

On 5/03/2022 I paid Illinois Roofmasters $800.00 to repair my roof. Mind you, this is not a roof replacement, it is a repair for a leak in one spot. They claimed to have come out and repaired it shortly after, but I still have the leak. The only evidence of this was a neighbor that saw some people working near my house. (There was no appointment time or date set up.) I have made repeated calls, (sent instantly to voicemail) left many messages, with no reply. Summer is upon us, it's raining, and I am leaking. I am done with this company. I don't want them working on my house, I just want my money back.Initial Complaint

My company is *************************** and we are located at ************************************* in *******, Illinois. On October 13, 2018 we signed a contract to have our roof fixed by Illinois Roofmasters of Brookfield, Illinois. We paid them a total of $24,400. The contract came with a no leak roof guarantee of 10 years, and it had a silicon roof restoration coating with a 25-year warranty. It has been less then four years and the roof has been leaking on and off continuously. They came out a couple of times and patched to no avail. I have called them many times and now they dont answer my calls. Ive sent them videos of the ceiling with the rain coming in when it rains. The alcove ceiling and wall is water logged. This is a business, but I cant have funeral services in the building, because the roof is leaking. On Sunday, July 17, 2022, my wife called from a different phone and they answered. However, they stopped answering my calls some time ago. I need some resolution to this problem immediately. I need the roof replaced the back alcove wall torn out and re-dry walled and the ceiling will have to be repainted. I can forward the contract, cancelled checks, and all the warranties that came with it. I can even send you pictures of the wet carpet in the chapel. I went as far as to have the carpet shampooed, because when it starts to dry it smells horrible. This business has proven to be unreliable, unethical and anything else I can think of negatively.Business response
