I hired him to repair my concrete steps. He told me he was experienced. He said everything will match and everything will look beautiful. He said he could fix all the steps. I have pictures before, during, and after. While they were working I asked him to protect my plants, fishpond and patio, but he didnt protect everything and even got dangerous chemicals into my fish pond. He tried to clean it up but it wasnt totally successful. The fish didnt die but some plants s toasted dying so I had to trim them severely. He cleaned up the bricks as best he could get dry concrete off but I could still see where it was. He never measured anything so the concrete is in different colors because he adds some where more water was used or less water was used. I stopped payment on the 2nd check so he came back and fixed it. Then I paid him in full. Now the concrete is cracking open! The picture collage shows the cracks in the steps and its less than 3 months old. I paid him $2800.00. I contacted him again last week and he said he would get back to me but its been 10 days since then. I texted him again today and no reply. I have a lot of pictures I can show you. Id really like my money back. He applied a sealant that was puddled on the steps and he said it would soak in and be fine but its not. He said everything would match and it doesnt. The integrity of the concrete appears weak because it is already cracking. I dont think hes capable of doing good work.
