On 2/24/22 their service tech came out and told me I need to replace a part on my furnace. The ignition indicator, they replaced it and charged me $322.80 for this part. It didn't even work for 10 hours. I called and they told me I would need to replace my furnace b/c it was old. No one said they would come out again or check and see if the part was correct. I than called another company who came out and replaced the same part and my furnace has been working since. I called Blue and was told its my fault I didn't insist they come out again. I called and asked for my money back and they told me no. They than told me I will be charged another $109 for a service contract I am breaking bc I do not want to have a monthly contract with them. Their service was terrible! The woman I talked to *** was rude and condescending telling me that its my fault b/c I choose to get it fixed somewhere other than them. I sent the paperwork showing someone else fixed it and she is still telling me how its not their fault that their service techs perform sub par work. I want my $322.80 + ***** back.Business response

Morning,
Air Blue Heating and Cooling has been in the business for over **************************************************************************************************************** this case it appears that the client is confused on what part we replaced and the other company. We offered to come out and not charge the client as long as it's a different part that failed, just as the client had to pay another company to diagnose system again. Client chose to call another vendor vs calling us.
Client states that Air Blue came out and replaced a part and then within 24hrs same part was replaced. If that was the case, we offer ************************************************************************************ fee to come out. If you look at the two invoices, and the picture of part we replaced. I marked up the part that was replaced. It's completely different part. We replaced Ignition Indicating Sensor the other company replaced an Ignitor. We have responded to client on March 3rd that the part is different we also advised the client that spending money on this very old furnace is not the correct fix as it may fail the following day again.
It appears that client is confused on which part was replaced. Hopefully this clears up. We have completed service that was needed at the time that was approved by the owner to complete. Furnace did not run at all when we got to the house. After we left it was running for almost 10hrs. Unfortunately, with old furnace and especially one that was not maintained parts will fail. Air Blue performed service, came out Diagnosed and replaced a part. Air Blue should get paid for the work. Client received over $100 discount at time of service for signing up for regular maintenance. Client then 48hrs later canceled the maintenance agreement causing the discount to be voided. We did not collet the discounted $100 and let client enjoy the discount even without the maintenance.
