On 8-10-2021 I paid Best-4-U Inc. $9639 for labor charge and materials that had been completed but also for six skylights that were to be delivered and installed. Subsequently two sealed skylights were delivered and installed but four curb style vented Velux skylights have never been delivered or installed which was paid for in full in the amount of $4600. For a year, ******************, the owner of the business maintained that the skylights were on back order. As of August, 2022 she maintained she had access to the skylights but did not have the labor to install them. This has been going on for six months. After numerous phone calls I realized the skylights were never going to be installed. I asked that they be delivered to my residence but ******* said she could not legally just give me the skylights. At that point I asked for a full refund of the amount I had given her for the vented skylights ($4600). She did not dispute that she owed me this amount but stated the skylights were special order and this would take time to get a refund. Since I have had to order these skylights elsewhere I can attest that the skylights in question are not special order and are readily available so there is no valid excuse for delaying my refund! This occurred about a month ago and no check has been forthcoming from Best-4-U.Also, I sent a letter to her business address and it came back as undeliverable so I suspect its a bogus address. Also she has blocked my phone number. As of this date she has not tried to resolve the issue and Im out $4600.
