  A fire occurred in my condo complex on 5/30/22. My condo unit suffered smoke damage. Puroclean was recommended to me by my assigned ALLSTATE adjuster. I was informed that my items would be cleaned, packed and stored until residents were allowed back into the building. This happened for me on 2/7/23. The only items cleaned were my clothes. All other items were wrapped in plastic, stored and returned without cleaning. Multiple items were not returned. Puroclean sent a short list of items deemed as NON-SALVAGEABLE (**). Apparently Puroclean could not decide whether or not to document the items being removed from my home or the ** list. I have copies of both, as documented by Puroclean employees. One employee, on move-in day, chose to tell me how much he liked having my red couch! I was advised that most electronic items would be smoke damaged. Imagine my surprise at finding some of these items coming through the front door or discovered in as yet unpacked boxes, still wrapped in plastic. My primary complaint is about the loss and mishandling of my belongings. These people were paid over $50,000.00.My bathtubs were stained, my countertops were covered with soot, my plantation shutters were scrubbed with (?) steel wool maybe, the ceramic tile in the bathrooms was smeared with whatever substance that was used to clean and then allowed to air dry, with streaks intact. This was after 3 cleaning attempts. Other items were missing: my shower chair, but the legs to the chair were returned, 2 large framed pictures, a square black wall mirror, an over bed table, an unopened 45 roll pack of toilet paper, an unopened 15 roll pack of paper towels. 2 flower pots, orchid plant fodder and orchid food, a 2-step ladder and a 3-4 foot wooden ladder. Please note: a second trip was required because other items including my teak desk and file cabinet didnt make it on the truck. However, the file cabinet had one wheel knocked off. I conclude that this is not reliable cleaning or storage.
