On Saturday July 3rd. Myself and 3 friends went golfing when we were verbally and rudely attacked by the manager in regards to pace of play, it lacked professionalism and good taste. We were refused a refund( $180) and thrown off the course. There was no alcohol involved. He came out of the club house very aggressive towards us instead of asking us politely and treating us like paying customers. We felt it could have been handled ALOT differently and professionally. I and my friends have been golfing for over 20-30 years there was no reason for him to treat us like that whatsoever. We were moving at a great pace none of us had ever been talked to ever for pace of play. I would like our money back along with an apology please.Business response

This is a response to the complaint filed by **** *****. Mr. ***** has not told the truth in his complaint. Mr ***** and his party had been asked by the Ranger to please speed up their pace of play, as they had fallen behind the group ahead of them by two holes. They became argumentative with him and even stated that they could slow down their pace, which they did. I personally observed them walking towards the 9th green at a very slow pace. He then turned around and walked back to his cart because he had not taken the right club. He did this also at a very slow pace. When I say a slow pace, I mean he took over a minute to walk approximately 30 yards. When they stopped at the clubhouse, they sat in their carts for over a minute and did not make an effort to even come into the clubhouse. I walked outside and asked them if they could please pick up the pace as they were falling behind and that the groups behind them were backing up and calling in complaining about them. Mr ***** looked at me and said "We are playing at a good pace" I again asked him to please pick up the pace. At this time one of the other players got out of his cart and began walking towards the clubhouse, he then turned towards me and said "YOU NEED TO SHUT THE **** UP". At this point I did tell them that they needed to leave, because neither my staff nor myself should have to take that kind of abuse. They demanded a refund but due to their attitudes and abusive language, I refused to give them one. This situation was witnessed by several of my staff members, along with other customers. I am rejecting this response because:
His response is all completely untrue. It’s our word against his, this has since been somewhat resolved. A different manager named ***** offered us free passes for golf there. We will never go there again and will be sure to pass the word on to family and friends how unprofessional this golf course was to deal with.
