on 6-3-2023, me and my wife arrived around 3:30pm and checked in at the hotel. we used the bathroom, felt uncomfortable leaving our stuff there, and left in around 5 to 10 minutes. upon returning later that night, around 10:pm, we found a pair of shorts hung on the computer chair in the corner, tucked out of sight, on the left arm of the chair against the curtains. turned it in to the front desk saying no big deal but we found this in the room, returned to room 105, and we began looking around the room. during this time, we began to notice a moldy smell within, and both me and my wife noticed we were feeling a bit unwell, but hoped it was something we ate. later, we found weird spots within some glass casings that had another picture in it that looked like mold. I turned off the air conditioner hoping to lessen the moldy smell but it did not seem to work, and eventually we had to call the front desk and ask for a different room. the lady apologized and said we could move to room 107, so we packed up and changed the key, we go into the new room, and the mold smell was much much worse in there, to the point we were almost gagging and felt it on our breath. we went back to the desk, asked for a refund, they claimed because we scheduled through a third party they couldn't refund me, but i paid right there at the front desk and not a single cent went to the third party. lady at the desk said she didn't have authorization for refunds, and to call the manager in the morning, and so being unable to stay, we left around 11:pm, i *********** day around 1:pm, called the desk, and a new lady said the manager was out because he was having a baby and hadnt been in yet. i have called the front desk each day since asking if the manager has been in yet and they say he hasn't, and i haven't been given any kind of regional or general manager contact info to help resolve this situation.i was charged $135.85 for services i wasnt able to receive and i would like my money returned.Initial Complaint

I stayed four nights at their motel. The price was $110 per night ( including ).I wanted to stay two extra days. The person at night said ok. The following morning I asked about the time to check out. I was told the two nights were not entered into the system. I had to leave within the next two hours.I had all kinds of charges pending. I didnt think much about it. I later seen that $894.00, was taken out of my account. This is double the amount i was told.I have been calling the phone number, at the Motel. It only goes to voicemail. I have called multiple times and have never received a call back.
