      Their services were paid for, but the following tasks were either not completed or not finished. !. Remove 2 stumps and stumps mulch, leveling and seeding area. COMPLETED 2. One time weed control to the turf areas. DID NOT DO 3. Clean front & back yard debris from turf, mow and edge. DID NOT CLEAN ALL DEBRIS OR MOW THE **** 4. Clean and till flower bed in front of house. COMPLETED 5. Clean up along entire fence, (inside & outside) till and seed (clearing out all plants/sm trees/bushes and weeds along the entire fence) THEY DID NOT REMOVE ALL PLANTS/SM TREES/BUSHES AND WEEDS ALONG THE INSIDE & OUTSIDE OF THE ENTIRE FENCE. SOME AREAS WERE FINISHED WHILE OTHERS WERE NOT. THEY SACRIFICE QUALITY FOR CONVENIENCE. 6. Till, level and seed area at the front, side and back of the house & both sides of the shed. COMPLETED 7. Cut down the Magnolia tree. COMPLETED 8. Gutter cleaning LEFT THE DEBRIS FROM THE GUTTERS ON THE **** I have personally worked with several lawn services for over 20 years. After using Green Prairie Landscaping, I found that they were inexperienced with what is involved in landscaping. I have a strong belief that the wife in this husband and wife business lacks understanding of the job. I believe she is overloaded with working another job, going to school, raising two children, and running a landscaping business on the side. We asked them in the beginning and a few times prior to the actual work if they wanted a deposit and their response was you can pay once the work is done. However, two days prior to the scheduled work date, we received a text request for a deposit.In summary, we are extremely dissatisfied with their work and won't use them again or recommend them. Our request is for a refund of at least $800. In order to finish the work, we need to hire a different landscaping company, and hopefully the $800 will help pay for it.I have attached a few pictures

      I am rejecting this response because:

      At 3:38 pm on Wednesday, May 29, *** from Green Prairie phoned my sister, who is a senior citizen and spoke to her in a hostile tone before hanging up on her.

      On Thursday, May 30th at 12:30 pm, I talked to *** over the phone on my sister's behalf. We have agreed to accept $500. I informed *** that she has the option to send the check through certified or registered mail with required signatures at the post office. However, *** refused to send the check by mail and demanded that they stop by and drop it off, and have my sister sign a receipt. We agreed to meet on Monday, June 3 at 4:30 p.m at my sisters residence.

      After her phone conversation with ***, my senior citizen sister was uncomfortable with them stopping by. On June 3, ***, who was irritable, presented me with a letter for my sister and I to sign, which we did. *** became angry and made a comment about us not calling them before reaching out to BBB.

      My sister ended up paying for work that was never finished. Whenever we attempted to communicate with them about their incomplete work while they were on site, they would become angry and give us an attitude.

      Matter of fact, they originally stated that it would take them 2 days to complete the job. However, that first day, late afternoon, *** called and said that they were finishing up and could we pay her husband the balance. hmm"

      Prior to the work dates, three times we had *** and her husband come over to my sister's house and walked them through what needed to be done. We sent several emails and texts to them to confirm what needed to be done.

      Since this fiasco, we have had two landscapers come out to give us estimates on the work that was never done or completed by Green Prairie, and both of them gave us quotes for over $800 dollars.

      Although we are not satisfied with the dollar amount, we decided to accept $500 from Green Prairie to prevent any future communication or confrontations with them. Their work is subpar and they are unprofessional and confrontational. We do not recommend using them.

      We appreciate the feedback.
      There always two sides of the story:
      I did call ***** first she didnt answer which I contacted **** to know what happen- she stated that I needed to talk to ***** she was handling this. **** stated that the crew was socializing with the neighbors when theyre suppose to working not talking. I said I would reach ***** out again which I decided to send an email to contact us. Which she did the next day which right an away she was giving me attitude claiming that we did not do a good job. Which I did say then why didnt you say you didnt like the work when I asked on Sunday because they handed the check to me. She stated I never asked if they were happy with our work. That it was my job to ask them to walk around the property to make sure everything was done. I did say yes I shouldve asked to go around the property. The crew asked multiple times if everything looked okay they stated yes. They also said they said yes because they didnt want to be dealing with them and that my husband was giving them attitude . I did ask why she didnt communicated directly to me to find a solution she didnt say much regarding this. I did offer for us to stop and for us to go and finish the things that they claimed that was not finished. ***** said was going to talk with ****. She called back she was nicer with me on the phone she said its not her house which **** made the decision that she-wanted money back which I stated I cannot return $800 they agreed with $500. I did asked for them to sign something for me just stating that I gave a check back because I just needed proof because at the beginning of all this she didnt communicate at all with us which I didnt feel comfortable giving a check just like that. ***** asked me when I was going to be able to drop it off- I said today, just need to stop by the bank she ok I will let my sister know. ***** called me again she stated that her sister wanted me to just leave it her mail box she didnt want to see me - I did stat I needed this agreement signed, ***** stated I can go and meet you somewhere public so you can take a photo of me signing the form she also mentioned about sending it through certified mail. I said unfortunately **** is the owner of the property and want this signed by both. She said that I will be coming on Tuesday to see my sister which we agreed Tuesday at 4:30pm.

      Yes an agreement was made and signed by both parties due to the miscommunication from client to contacting us directly to speak regarding this matter. Me and my Husband arrived and we respectfully said HI to ***** which **** the owner of the house did not came out of the house not sure the reason why. I asked nicely to sign the agreement that I was providing a check just to file to our records. and also her sister due to **** being the owner of the property, ***** came out after **** signed the form and said hold on a minute you want it  this way well I need pictures of this forms which I did offer a copy that I made and she refused because she didnt know if the copy was going to have the same information I dont trust you!which I was fine with it. ***** was the one managing all this which she also tried hiding work that was going to be add to her sister. There was 3 occasions where **** and ***** were arguing with their neighbors which made our crew uncomfortable.which Sunday 5/18 the police was called to an incident again with the neighbors. Both **** and ***** apologize twice regarding this because they felt embarrassed what happen and the crew had to see this. After the complaint they stated that our crew was socializing with the neighbors when they were suppose to be working. Which I my self communicated with their neighbors that  work was being done and for example a tree was going that needed to be trimmed because the branches were in Annas property  was in their property and any debris was going to be cleaned up by our crew afterwards. Which neighbors were ok with it that they had no problem, they said not to worry about it. We did not get involved with their problems that had between neighbors.
