I received an email stating my current bill was sent to collections on June 8th of 2023. I received the bill in May of 2023. The second notice was received on June 9th of 2023, the statement date is June 1st of 2023. The bill is not past due and states it is current. The billing department states there is no record of this bill being sent to collections. The front desk at the location stated this year (2023) all accounts with a current or past due bill were sent to collections. The treatment dates are from July 6th and July 14th of 2022; I just now received these bills in May of 2023. Since the bill is current and not past due, I am not sure why it was sent to collections, along with why their billing department is unaware that it was sent to collections.Business response

I spoke to this patient and I contacted the collection agency. I spoke with supervisor ******* and he confirmed that the account was not in collections. He is also going to mail the patient a letter stating that information. The balance on the account does belong to the patient and she expressed that she would pay the balance on 6/30/23. This was resolved and the patient was thankful for the help in resolving this matter.Customer response
