I hired this person for snowplowing this past January. He complained about doing work from the get go. The day of 1st snowstorm, he wanted to come the next day and it was only 3 pm. I said temp was going to drop drastically. He came out way too fast and heavy with plow immediately causing damage to stone part of bridge over creek removing stone, he ran over brick landscape trim in front of house and scraped other parts of the brick. He caused a lot of damage to property plowing carelessly. I didn't see how bad driveway was till snow melted. There are goudgescand scraped out asphalt in several places. Over 200 ft of grass/sod and inches of dirt along driveway removed. Estimates of snowplow damage is in excess of *******. He refuses to repair any damage. I would have been happy with driveway repair of stone and asphalt but he angerly refused and continues to threaten me for his ****** or he will put a lien on my house. He may have started that? He also sent me a text on Feb 24th saying where's his money when I hadn't even received a bill yet. In fact, the bills were postmarked Feb 25th and all have been sent to the wrong address. All sent to wrong town. I didn't actually get a bill till after the second week of March. He was pounding on my door the Friday before last Friday after I told him I wanted someone with me when he came put to check damage. He showed up anyway saying he wasn't responsible for any damage, blamed me for it, said his brother works for the sherrifs office, and told me I wouldn't have a chance in court and pay him by March 17th or he would put a lien in my house. This man knows nothing about customer service or relations. He wants to do as little as he can for whatever he can get paid. He does not stand by his work as he says. Just denies carelessness that costs me well over what he is asking in payment in damages and repairs from his plow. You don't treat a 65+,female, quadruple bypass surgery survivor with pneu. like this
