On 12/25/22 my car broke down so we had went to Greers to get my car fixed. ***** the owner had quoted us less than $900. We had a verbal agreement. On 1/2/22 I called and asked about my car. ***** told me it was $1240, when I asked why ***** started listing things that needed fixed. They had fixed even more than what he told us and he never even called to tell/ask about fixing it.Business response

The customer brought in the car December 29. It was totally out of oil they had broken some parts in pieces. I told the ladies dad that it was going to be at least $900 probably more due to the extra broken stuff and the father said go ahead and fix it. I will cover the rest that she cant cover and so I went ahead and got the car up and in working condition from fixing the original timing chain issue to also fixing the broken stuff that day Broke on it as well and we also put them ahead of people to get them going so she could get her car back due to the holidays.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.He has not called to apologize to me, he still has not refunded the 340$ it was my car not my fathers. He should of called me with any extra problems that came up. But he did not. We told him to go ahead and fix it when it was 900$. If we knew that it was going to be **** we wouldnt have gone to him
