On September 18 2023 i went in to **** Bowmer Auto in order to trade in a 2006 Chrysler town and country in order to get a 2016 dodge Caravan. Open this agreement the van would Include a trailer hitch assembly witch they have in storage at the mechanics garage . I was offered $1000.00 for the trade In values for my 2006 Town and Countrty.On my way home the check engine light came on and started dinging . I took the vehicle into auto zone to run a diagnostic. The results were issues with the engine . I returned to **** Bowmer Auto to attempt to fix the issue . I have made over 25 attempts backed by text phone logs over the next 3 week to get my vehicle fixed. After the warranty was approved and effective **** Bowmer Auto attempted to pass off the cost of the repair onto the warranty company. After the mechanic was done with the repair they said they had to replace 2 Cam shafts 12 rocker arms 3 chain tensioners Cylinder head cover gasket Oil filter Labor ******* At a total cost of repair of over *******. The warranty company refused most of the claim and only paid $900.00 of the ******* Bowmer auto to refused to pay the remainder leaving me without my van because their Mechanic will not let me have it until **** Bowmer Auto or the warranty pays for the repairs. As a side note this repair was a preexisting condition that Bowmer Auto was responsible to fix NOT the warranty company and this mechanic is on the Bowmer Auto payroll. Not to mention that all the parts in the claim that they said were replaced the van would not have worked at all . I have asked to have this vehicle traded in and replace several times and the sales manager keeps saying they will repair it. The van has been Supposedly repaired for 4 days now . The ultimate solution is to buy back the van give me my trade value and the amount I have paid to the finance company. $1230.00 plus lost wages because of my vehicle not working $900.00 for a total of *******
