This person has dragged out a short job for 2.5 months. He kept asking for money, and kept making up issues in the house. His name is ********** and he's very very lazy and untrustworthy. He wouldn't come to the job site earlier than 11am. He didn't finish even one thing in the house and kept lying like crazy! He said the paint job was done, but the house is not painted and walls full of stains. He didn't cover the floors when he was working and caused more damage. He said he installed the ** and just forgot to take the picture but when we came to see 2 days later, ** was still in the box. He charged upfront for installing the kitchen!! But never installed it. He was taking sick days constantly and was just extremely lazy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PERSON! a liar and a thief. In 2 whole months, he didn't finish even one item in the house!

The contract start date was 6/15/22 and was to be completed by 6/23/22. The date is now 7/27/22. The service was to be:Removing and installing countertops Removing and installing shower Installing garbage disposal We have paid a total of $4,156.58 including parts for shower and labor, does not include hardware for countertop. The shower is a complete mess and unusable. The doors do not close, the shower is missing parts, the handle is missing, there is drywall everywhere, drywall putty is scattered across the floor, the bathroom sinks have dust from work which was not cleaned. We had a professional plumber from another business come to evaluate the work done. The new business recommended for all of this work to be redone as it was all done incorrectly. The countertops were purchased by us which were brand new custom ordered. When installed ****** put screws through the top of the counter. The counter is also not level. The dishwasher is now loose and the sink is now leaking which required us to get a third party plumber. ****** Day did not meet the service contract and will need to be redone by a professional business. We have contacted ****** Day about our concerns and has refused to return the money that was requested back. Attached is the signed contract that was not met and pictures of the botched work.

We reached out to ****** with a punch list of items to get our home ready for sale. We advised him that we had a tight schedule and that we couldnt afford for the schedule to slip. He came over (late) and walked through, to get a better understanding of the scope of work and later provided us with a price. We reminded him of the timeline and said he could do it and would bring a helper. He said he would start each day at 9am. The first day, he said his tire blew and he wouldnt be in until after 11. He committed to staying late to make up for the time and to stay on schedule. Again i asked him if his helper would be here and he said yes.He showed up around 11:30 and left at some point to go to the gas station and left again at 3:30 for the day, without a helper. Only one item had been taken care of (and not completed to the implied consent terms). I asked him if he could get the work done in time and he assured me he could. This morning, I get another message that his car wouldnt start. I offered to pick him up, due to the deadline and explained to him again the implications of not meeting the deadline (pushing putting our home on the market and tax penalty implications). He started blaming me for having poor planning and that it was not his fault. Time ran out and I asked him to be refunded the amount of the deposit less a reasonable amount for four hours of labor as a handyman (as he is not a ********* and we provided materials, delivery and even some equipment). He proceeds to charge us over $700 for 4 hours of work and a task which was not completed according to our implied contract.
