I bought carpeting from this business. Over some months, I noticed it coming apart at the seem in the hallway. I contacted them immediately and they sent a man to my home in Febuary 2022. He said the carpet was rotten and it came from the manufacturer like this. He said he'd tell his boss. I waited several days with no response. I called Carpet World. The lady Carol said she'd see what she could do. I waited days again and called them. She said they would definately replace the whole carpet, living room and hallway. Waited a couple weeks. Contacted them again. She said I, at my own expense, would have to have carpet professionally cleaned. I did hesitate at first because I didnt feel I should have to pay for the cleaning. I did agree and had it cleaned since Carol said this was the only way theyd replace it. I gave receipt of the cleaning to Carol. I waited weeks, then called Carol again. She said now I need to send pictures of damaged carpet, whcih the first man that came to inspect took pictures that day. But I took pictures and sent them to Carol immediately. Weeks went by again. I called and left message. A week went by with no response. I called again. I explained this has been going on since Febuary and would like it resolved immediately. Im having a gathering in July and its bad right in front of my bathroom. Really concerned someone could trip over it and get hurt. She hung up on me. I called back and she would not answer. I left a message and told her that if this wasnt resolved immediately, I would call BBB. This was several days ago and Ive gotten know response from her. Over these many months, Ive called and left messages on her phone and she rarely returned my calls and have not attempted to resolve this. She did say its the distributors fault but I bought the carpet from her, not them. I feel she needs to get this settled ASAP.
