I had Uncloggables to my home on 10/25/21, to repair a toilet that wouldn't flush. I told them they could replace the toilet or the entire inside, whatever was needed. They were at the house 15 minutes and installed a flapper and fill valve. The toilet never flushed correctly and took 2 or 3x to flush. I asked them to come back and they were scheduled for 11/3. I called today to make sure I would not be charged another $100 service call. The toilet still doesn't work and I felt the original $100 should cover the return visit. After talking to his wife, I realized I would be charged and emailed them to tell them to cancel the appt. The owner, *************************, emailed me and called me a scammer trying to get free service like so many others and said he isn't interested in customers like me. He literally put me on a DO NOT SERVICE list. I am a great person to do business with. I always pay the day of service, tip, etc. I have never been talked to or treated like this by any business owner in my 60 years. I would never use this company. Every company I have ever used always wants to make sure you are happy and left with a repaired and satisfactory product until Uncloggables. I am so disappointed!

The customer called for service of a toilet flapper and to check if the toilet was leaking. Our plumber arrived onsite and determined that the toilet should be replace due to being in poor working order but the customer only had him conduct the repairs as mentioned before. This was noted on her account at the time of service. The customer called to report that the toilet would not flush and insisted it was the flapper repair, while also admitting that the toilet was in disrepair and was informed she needed to replace it, but requested a refund. The customer was informed that our warranty covered the work we had preformed and we would have to send a plumber out to assess the repair and see if it was the cause of the toilet not flushing properly. This was a free service covered under her warranty. She requested that we then do more work outside of the original scope of work that she was billed for. She was informed that there would be additional charges for said addition work. After a short conversation with our office staff the customer then revealed that she wanted the refund to pay for a "maintenance man" to replace the toilet. It appeared on our side that she was attempting to scam us into paying for or preforming further repairs at our cost. At this point the customer has changed her story no less than 3 times and we feel that she is not a good fit for our customer base. I also give her 1 star as a customer but hope that she is able to find a company that can meet her needs. I had issued a check to refund the labor amount as a curtesy to the customers ex-husband who is an acquaintance of mine and who she had asked to call me. I am now destroying that refund.

This is in response to *************************' 11/2/21 response. I have never ever had a business treat me the way Uncloggables and ************************* have. Every word he said in response to my original complaint were lies, except for one thing. After the work was done on my toilet on 10/25 and it still didn't flush, I called ***** who is the owner's wife. It would be several days until they could get back out to my home and I told ***** if they were booked and would have trouble getting back to me, she could refund the service fee to me and I could try and find someone else to fix the toilet. I only said this because I was desperate to have a toilet that would flush. I was fine that they were going to come back to my home. I work for IU and am well liked and respected. I treat all companies I work with with a great deal of respect. I have a maintenance guy I have used for 30 years. I pay the day of service, tip and have even paid additional money if the service is good. I don't want any money from this company and at this point it is my word against his. I found another review on here dated 6/24/2020 also complaining about Uncloggables. He also called this poor *********************************************** Please go read this complaint. Two complaints left on BBB containing similar stories, but the company is saying both customers are the ones lying. I know I am not a liar and none of what he said about me is true. One of the biggest lies is that they said I needed a new toilet and I refused. I was very much ok with a new toilet. I told them when I first called that my toilet was super old. My 24 year old daughter was home at the time of repair. She knew the tech and had gone to high school with him. ***** (tech) said it only needed a flapper and the toilet was ok which shocked me. I expected them to say I needed a new toilet. This story is so fabricated I can't believe it. I am done with this horrible experience, but please take note!
