I hired *************************, owner of this business, to remove a lilac **** from my yard, including the *****. He quoted a price of $110 but did not remove the *****. I asked why, and he claimed I hadn't asked for it to be removed. However, I had it in writing because our communication was done on ******** Messenger. When Gabe realized I had proof of what I had asked him to do, he admitted I was right but said he didn't know what to do about it because he would have to rent equipment. In order to resolve the issue, I offered $175 for him to finish the job. He asked for $190, which I reluctantly agreed to. He then came back to remove the ***** but didn't actually remove it. The lilac **** has been growing back (and I have a weird looking bump in my yard). Gabe then said he would come back at the end of the season (the fall of 2021) and that he would borrow a friend's equipment. He never came back. Instead, he later said he would come back this spring to do it. I have no reason to believe he will. He also offered to give my lawn a free mow at the end of the season to help make up for some of this hassle, added cost and his broken promises. He never showed up to do it. In fact, instead of doing anything constructive, he blocked me on Messenger and will not respond to my phone calls and email messages. So, he quoted a price of $110, made false claims about what I had hired him to do, took $190 from me, still hasn't completed the job, lied to me about giving me a free mow and is now "ghosting" me.
