My husband and I picked Sycamore Farms as our wedding venue in 2023. The land and barn is beautiful! However, they do not specify prior to contract signing that all payments go through their partner, a catering company. They also will charge you a $1,000 fee if you do not use their catering company services and use another company instead. Their catering company, Garnish Catering, seemed to be a good option at the time so when we booked with Sycamore Farms we'd accepted we would be ordering services from Garnish Catering. Garnish Catering was a NIGHTMARE of a company. We are still (3 months later) working towards a resolution with Garnish Catering over monetary funds that were taken, unauthorized, from an account less than a month before the wedding. On the wedding day, the ceremony wasn't set up by staff until just 2-3 hours prior to the starting time of the ceremony. For an already stressful day, Sycamore Farms/Garnish Catering employees made it 100x more stressful. Everything with Sycamore Farms goes through Garnish Catering (including staff), making the two companies incredibly hard to distinguish from each other.
