      09/21/2021 bought my wife a **** mustang cobra two years ago for our 15 year anniversary this spring the transmission started to grind and wouldn't go into reverse i called expert transmission in decatur and spoke with a gentleman by the name of ***** he had a tow company come and pick the car up and take it to his shop once they took a look at the transmission he said it would be better off to get a refurbished trans that was around $2500 plus a new clutch total **** was around $2,800 so i said lets go for it what was supposed to take two weeks ended up to be three months once my wife's car was done my dad and son went with me to pick it up i called ahead of time letting them know i was on my way once i got there i walked in and met ***** for the first time he was very nice to me so i paid my **** my wifes car was sitting inside there shop so ***** and i made our way from the office through the shop to my wifes car it was sitting in the last bay with the passenger side butted up next to a wall i never thought anything of it he handed me the keys and said we Useally never let customer's back there vehicle out but we can make a exception today once i started to back out ***** stopped me and said there is a little boy hollering for you i said ya its my son and i told him my dad and son rode with me and was following me home so i started to back out why ***** guided me once again he stopped me and kneeled down in front of the car so i put the car in netural set the e break got out and said something wrong he said your headlight is hanging out once i started to look at the passenger side both tires had white chalky powder ****** on them and they was scared i pointed it out to ***** i got my phone out and started taking pics i have a picture of ***** wipeing the chalf off so i switched to video the ground effect was popped out the back bumper has a huge gape the rims are scarred up and they aren't cheap they wrecked my wifes car you can tell they lost control hit a curb

      Hello ****, We apologize for anything you might be upset about. We would like to resolve this issue with you vehicle as soon as possible. We discussed the details regarding your car on the day of pickup at our location. Approximately 9-15-2021 we assured you that we had not wrecked your vehicle when in our care. We checked with everyone involved with the repair and test drive of vehicle. We also checked our parking lot camera and found nothing causing damage to the car. We offered to take it an Auto Body Shop to get checked over to try and get answers to how and where the damage came from. You said you wanted to take it to a local shop that you personally knew. We agreed on this and both agreed that was a good idea. We also had a CarFax check on the car to make sure it had ever had any prior damage before arriving to our facilities; Thinking that might help explain some of your damage concerns on the vehicle. It did show it had a salvage/rebuilt title and we informed you of that information. As of this date, I have not seen or been informed of any inspection or report or anything regarding damage to your vehicle. We have been in business since **** and understand how important customers vehicles are to them. Everyone here feels terrible about this situation and hope we can resolve this as soon as possible. We hope this information helps.
