Purcell Auto sales has by far been the absolute worst experience Ive ever had purchasing a car. I bought a truck from them and paid in full in march and didnt receive the title almost 2 months later, making me have to park the car due to temporary tag expiring. They also failed to send the taxes I paid to them to my state, causing me to have to pay for taxes a second time. When I reached out to them and told them this, they said they would call me back and never did. Ive been trying to call them to get an update on them refunding me the taxes that they collected and never sent to my state of residence and they never pick up the call or pick up and quickly hang up without saying anything. Ive been attempting to call them for the past 3 weeks and they wont answer. Ive text the a few sales people and management there and no response. I use to prefer to support and shop with smaller businesses but this is experience has change that for me. This is a crooked dealership that would recommend to avoid.

Great communication during purchase and fixed issues with vehicle before purchase. Price was acceptable.

Terrible experience. After test driving a vehicle we started to talk about price. I stated what I could pay due to the work needing done to the vehicle. The employee told me that the price listed was fair, and then started getting arrogant. I let him know that I had researched what the vehicle was actually worth. I politely handed him the keys and he kept uttering rude comments as to why he was right and I was wrong for my offer. I told him I didnt need the vehicle and left. I will never return to this lot and dont recommend anyone doing business with them. They are overpriced and dont even maintenance their vehicles before they put them up for sale. Before this visit, I had checked out two other vehicles, only to find out that they both needed oil changes immediately. They also needed tires due to bad steering components.

On June 6, 2023, I purchased purchased a 2007 Honda CR-V with about 74k miles. I picked it up on Thursday June 8, 2023. At the time of purchase, I asked if the dealer had a lift so I could inspect the undercarriage, I was told no. At time of purchased (and stated on the details of the car in their website) the car only had some defective ball joints that could be easily repaired.I did see a few cosmetic rust spots on the door. That same day, Thursday June 8, 2023, I brought the car to *************************** at *************************************, ** and was told the following after inspection (have that documented)- Structural Integrity of the chassis is compromised (due to extensive rust)- Structural jacking points behind front tires are bent over. **** has weakened them.- Rear suspension crossmember has aftermarket support brackets on left and right to support rusted crossmember. Those seems to have been added very recently to support the suspension.- Mounting points are rusted - Both rocker panels (right and left side) are rusted from the inside out.- The trunk impact bar is rusted and will not provide the adequate impact resistance during an accident.I contacted the dealer via text on (219) xxx-x598 telling him about the above findings as well my trip to the collision center. I was told (have those in text messages) only see rocker panel and those are normal areas to rust.I offered to have the car swapped for a different one so they would no lose any money (also via text message for which I have a record). No answer and when called, I was told they had to talk to their boss and would get back to me the same day. Never did After exchanging emails with ****** Purcell and indicated car is unsafe to drive, his answer "I'm not understanding how rockers and cross member make it unsafe to drive. The cross member maybe.." The mere fact there are support brackets indicate they were aware of the weakness and tried to hide it.

I purchased a used (2006) Prius from them, and I have never had a better car. The entire experience was very good, and this is the first car I've ever bought that I didn't have to repair something on. I took it to my mechanic just to see what all would need to be fixed, and he told me there was nothing at all he would recommend fixing. I've now been driving this for 3 months, and it's been great!

Picture's did not accurately represent the vehicles. Drove 3 hours for a truck. Was told nothing was wrong with it. Rockers were rusted out and rear caliper had wheel dragging. Pictures showed the truck in perfect condition and it was not. Waste of time and gas money.
