On September 1st I purchased an RV from Kentuckiana RV Wholesalers. After inspection, a list was written up of things that were not working and the sales contract stated that when it was delivered, “Everything fully functional… deposit refundable if guarantees not met”. There was a $1000 deposit. Upon delivery nothing had been fixed. I spoke with the owner **** multiple times. He did send a few techs but there remains many things that are not functional, (plumbing, electrical, appliances). Since his shop is two hours away I simply asked him to refund the deposit per the contract and I would fix it myself. He offered $500, I refused since the contract is very specific. Now he will not return my calls.Business response

We sent 2 employees 2 hours away to help fix the issues our customer was having. When we arrived we realized the customer had an oustide electrician wire the plug he was to use to run the camper, to our surprise we realized his electrician had wired it 220 instead of 110. When you plug a camper in to 220, it does significant damage to the camper. We also had an outside RV technician from the area stop by a few days later, who confirmed the camper was damaged by wiring it 220. We offered $500 of the $1000 the customer requested to try to help and to show we are willing to work with him. He refused and wanted $1000. We don't feel the problem was our doing, since we had nothing to do with the plug being wired incorrectly. We did sell the camper as is, but was trying everything possible to help. We personally feel the electrician who wired it incorrectly should be liable for the damage he caused. Sincerely, **** ***** with kentuckiana RV Wholesalers.
