*************************** was contracted to install 2 windows on the first-floor south side wall of the study room and to correct the window installation on second floor master bedroom at my property ********************************************************************* on 7th April, 2022. The cost including the labor and material is $1,500. *** started the window project on April 11. He used ************** to support the window header that is only 1 longer on either side of the window. I was told by the material carrier merchant it is required to leave at least extra 2 width on each side of the window. He insisted to use shorter length material and assured that is safe. He informed me via text message on April 14 afternoon 2:47 that he completed the work and requested to pay cash in full. I requested to meet at the property after I withdraw cash so we can check the work together. He insisted to meet at the bank because he was in a hurry. He assured me that the job was done completely in a good condition and the site was cleaned. I stopped by the property before I went to bank for cash. The site was not cleaned. Brick and concrete pieces spread through near the work site and inside of the rooms of the window work. The screen windows were not installed. The window trims and ***** were not installed. He said he would return the next day after the cement is dry. When I asked him to note on the payment receipt/contract, he then changed the returning date from April 15 to April 20. He didnt come on 4/20 and rescheduled to 4/22 after I texted and called many times. Since then, he changed his returning schedule multiple times on 5/2, 5/3, 5/4, 5/5, 6/23, 6/27, 6/28, 7/1, then no any response since 6/30. He has been paid for the work. He should finish his agreed work. Please help me to resolve this issue.
