*Date of transaction: 8/12/2022 Unsatisfactory Masonry Restoration *Paid ******* ****** $1,477.00. Told him the check was mailed in the full amount because my **** and I were concerned about our safety and not because it was a job well done. *Majority of the work was front porch masonry restoration, replace 3 bricks at the bottom of garage, minimum tuck-pointing. ******** * ***** spent about 2 hours on this project and left the morning of 8/12/2022. When I saw the red/brown stucco patch on the front of our cement grey porch I could not believe his claim of being an expert in masonry restoration. He called on the phone wanting to get paid but I said I was not happy with the work and wanted to talk with him in person. On Saturday 8/13 I got materials to repair the ugly stucco patch and spent more of my time to repair the porch and clean the mortar off the bricks then the total time he and ***** spent at our house doing the job. The garage brick work was okay while the porch work was terrible and the total job was way overpriced for the work completed. Tuck pointing left side corner of house (2-feet) also was missed. *On 8/14 I emailed ******* about his poor work, my repair work and that I expected a price reduction. He called Sunday evening and was very intimidating and threatening to me and my ****. *On Monday 8/15 I called ******* and said we will pay him in full because we feared for our safety. We were set to meet at 3:00PM but he never showed. *On Tuesday 8/16 I mailed ******* ****** a check for $1,477.00. *I am expecting a refund check that accurately reflects the actual work that was accomplished. He knows that the completed job was way overpriced(About 50%) for the poor quality of work performed. I would accept a $500.00 refund check. *Do not want ******* ****** on our property again! This man is sick....I did my job...right and ...the work on his stairs were free...he mad about the color his **** pick ..it..3 time....i did charge for....The money he pay me and sign the contract and I don't work by the hours...by the job....Jerry just mad because it took me 4 hours to do the job....that what he mad over.......iam not giving no money back...I did everything that was on the contract..right ...The stairs work was free...so ..the my side....thank you... *******Business response

Mr. ****** paid me and everything was on the bid. The porch area was free and the **** picked the color three different times. No money will be refunded.
