      On Sunday November 6th I bought gift card for $75 because I wanted to gift my sister with a nose piercing. After talking to her she decided to go elsewhere. The next day Monday November 7th I brought the receipt and gift card back to return it and was told I was not able to per policy. I explained that there was nothing posted in the store about the return policy and I was not told by the sales associate that the gift card was nonrefundable and it is not posted on the receipt. The sales associate sent her manager a text message and she explained that there was nothing she could do and suggested that I call the corporate office. I called and left 2 messages and did not get a response so I sent an email today and after I explained that the policy was not posted and I was not told that giftcards are not refundable, the customer service agent responded verifying that they are not refundable, she sent me a link to the policy and told me the policy is posted on the register. I explained that the policy was not posted on the register or anywhere else in the store and that the email link is not helpful for this situation. The representative responded with "as I said in the previous email gift cards are nonrefundable" and he/she gave me the number to call if I wanted to discuss it further. I sent the following response. "There is a way to override and refund me my money because I was mislead when I purchased it by not being given the information on the return policy prior to the purchase. It not being posted is the fault of the store and I should not be penalized because your store didn't follow your protocol. I will call when I get off work." I called and they are saying there is absolutely nothing that they can do. I know people who work in retail and I know there is a way that they can override something in the system to give me my money back. They are saying there is not and no one above a senior customer service representative was available to talk to me.
