We got a new air conditioner and furnace unit 2 years ago. We have a 10 year warranty on this equipment. Last year it completely quit working and they came out and said the compressor was bad. So after one year the compressor went bad. The part was under warranty but we still had to pay for the labor which was around $500. I dont think a compressor should go bad after one year. This year we go to turn on our ac and it quit working again. We scheduled An appointment for them to come out on Thursday May 4 at 4pm and they canceled at about 3:30. They said the job will take too much time so they rescheduled it for Friday, May 5. The person that came out added refrigerant and checked for leaks. We didnt receive the **** for $231 and it says that they recommend that we have our returns checked. They installed the equipment so they should check the returns. We would like to dispute this **** because we have had so many problems and this company is not fixing the problem. The reviews on there website are horrible!Business response

Response to complaint ID ******** by ***************************:
Peters' Heating & Air Conditioning installed a new furnace and air conditioning on June 2nd, 2020. At that time, we ran 3 new supply ducts in the crawl space for better air flow on the main level. The system ran fine the summer of 2020 and 2021.
October 13th, 2021, they did have a compressor failure. When we were there on this date, they were running the system without a filter. The serviceman told them the return flex was somewhat kinked and should be addressed. At that time, they did not want to pay to improve it. We tried to get warranty coverage from the distributor and manufacturer for the labor to replace compressor however, it was denied.
On May 6th, 2022, we added one pound of refrigerant and dye to leak check system and again told them about the return issue. They still did not want to pay to have the issued addressed.
The original ducting was installed years ago by the builder. We do not warrant existing ducting that was installed by someone else. The new system ran 16 month before having any issues.
We will be happy to work with them to make changes to the return duct at reasonable price if they are interested. To the best of my knowledge the unit is currently working.
Please find the original quote attached.
Respectfully,******** Peters, President
