I normally stay away from this card shop since they are charging 8% sales tax compared to other business in the area.I purchased a product for $140.00 and the total was $151.20 after tax.I have asked why they are charging 8% and the response was that is how it is set up.Business response

We have received the letter notifying us of the complaint. Apologies for the delay I was out of the office last week.
We charge a 7% sales tax and a 1% transaction fee for all debit/credit cards that are **** or Mastercard. We charge an additional 2% fee for amex or discover.
We have a sign next to our credit card terminal stating the 1% fee. I'm not sure which employee they interacted with, but we assume it was one of our newer staff members that didn't properly explain this to the individual.
