Purchased our jeep in the spring of 2022 and was sold the extended warranty. Six weeks ago the oil cooler housing cracked while parked and oil poured from the jeep. After making an appointment with the service department, we were all set up to have our vehicle towed to the location. (We are an hour away) The day before, my husband called and talked to the service lady and she said it would cost us and addition $300 to have it towed and warranty only paid $50. Or we could take it locally and pay the $100 deductible for the service so that’s what we chose to do. On Tuesday 2/20 the vehicle was towed to our local Jeep dealer and they took it apart and determined the oil cooler house was cracked. This component is an internally lubricated part that is covered under our extended warranty. Warranty company said they weren’t paying for it. Went back and for with local dealer and warranty company and they told us to call **** ***** and if they approved it the would pay. My husband called **** ***** every day last week and spoke with a younger gentleman ********) and was told he would get back with us. We’ve called everyday and no return calls or nothing. So we paid for an extended warranty that is useless and now we will be out the $1200 to fix our jeep. I would never recommend **** ***** to anyone or the scam of a warranty they try to sell. I’ve also reached out to the BBB. We just want a full refund for the warranty so we can pay to have our jeep repaired. The total of both warranties/plans is $4064 plus tax

Purchased car for daughter. On way home it had blown motor. Shared concern was told it was used and that they didn’t have to fix it. Scottsburg ***** ***** looked at it as I had to have it towed to there shop day of purchase. Had not drove car for 20 minutes when it was overheated on side of road. This car clearly had not even been inspected asked if there was anything I could do to get out of purchase day of buying since motor was blown. . Was told verbally I could not but they would put another used motor in it. Got car back from them with a junkyard motor that they did replace. 14 months later have another blown motor. And several other issues. Have list of issues from mechanic. Owe several more years on a lemon that has not ran good from day 1. When Scottsburg opened up the hood on day of purchase there was things held together by rope. This car clearly was not inspected but rather quickly brought in and sold to us. When I questioned the day of purchase if car was inspected the salesman assured us that all used cars go through a vigorous inspection. How did they miss a blown motor. How is a car with 70,000 miles in need of third motor

Recently bought a used 2020 F-150 from them and It was listed as both "clean interior" and "professionally detailed" in the online listing, but I was very dirty inside when I showed up to look at it. During the sale I was told that they write them up like that even if they haven't cleaned them "yet". They had it a month but said they would get it detailed for me. I had to bring it back (keep in mind that this place is an hour away from my home) to have them take it to the detailer. They got it Monday at opening and returned it to me on Friday. They told that it was going to be taken to an actual detailer but had a shop guy try to clean it again. They told me this guy was great at cleaning and did the best he could. This is what I received. Last night I picked up a can of upholstery cleaner and cleaned the console pad and that's how dirty the towel got. These guys are a joke, 2 attempts to clean it and they give me this? I'm now being told "Your welcome to detail your own car but per my boss we are not investing any more money it to the truck thank you for your business sorry we could not meet your expectations have a great evening" what money did they invest?

Mr. ***** purchased a 2020 Ford F-150 from John Jones Auto Group.  The vehicle was advertised with pictures of the seat and vehicle condition.  Upon purchasing  the vehicle, Mr. ***** signed an agreement stating the only thing owed to him was a detail. The vehicle was detailed two separate times, one cleaning by our team and another cleaning hired by an outside company.  Upon notice of Mr. *****'s complaint, our Customer Service Team contacted Mr. ***** to resolve the issue.  He wanted to be reimbursed for additional detail he spent on the vehicle.  We have agreed to work with Mr. *****, but have not received a response.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I did not see the email they sent me for follow-up so I was still waiting. I have responded to it and sent the requested invoice for the time and materials involved with getting the vehicle cleaned. The same invoice is also attached here.
