Do not hire this company. *** is a liar and a con. He doesnt have project managers and relies on subcontractors that have no clue. He drops the pool and runs. ****** care about fixing damaged property or customer service.

Horrible company, 100% con man. We signed a contract February 2022, supposed to be completed "summer 2022." We still do not have a finished project and are forced to hire others to finish/redo the work. We received a pool that was NOT the one we ordered - they delivered a similar one that was much smaller and didn't tell us, hoping we just wouldn't notice. After trying for a few days to reach the owner, they agreed to bring out a different pool - completely different shape than we wanted but at least comparable in size. The company then attempted to charge me for 2 crane charges like it was my fault they brought the incorrect pool the first time. It was issue after issue throughout all of last summer and fall working with them - the owner was impossible to reach most of the time. When we did speak with him, he was condescending, rude, and inappropriate. The dates for every step were constantly pushed back - usually without them even calling to let us know, they just wouldn't show up for weeks. The concrete had to be done twice due to improper installation - and the second install wasn't done well either (has huge cracks and is discolored everywhere.) The concrete they ripped off was left in a huge pile in my backyard against a tree - which killed the tree from the pressure on it. They caused damage to my property multiple times by driving over the lawn including taking out 2 sections of my rock retaining well - note this was on the other side of the property away from the pool, had nothing to do with the work being done on the actual pool. Rather than hauling away dirt as stated in the contract - they made two huge piles on the edge of our ***** and just left it there. They used dirt/gravel from prior projects for backfill that had ***** nails everywhere in it. The workers left garbage on our property on daily basis that we had to clean up. I could go on and on, but bottom line DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Do not use Region Pool & Spa! *** is impossible to work with. He has no idea what he is doing. We have had a similar experience as the other reviewer. Also, I know he has at least 5 lawsuits currently in **********.

This company is doing a lot of business in ******** and the owner is a con man!We made the unfortunate mistake of signing a contract with Region Pools and Spas for a pool and hot tub project. We were told our project would start in October of 2021. It didnt start until May. And now its October 2022, and were not done not done by a long shot.The company owner and possibly only employee ********************* is a con man. He grabs your money and disappears for weeks at a time. On top of that, he has NO understanding of how to install a pool. He digs a hole and lets you fend for yourself with his subcontractors. The subcontractors come to you with questions, and when you finally get ahold of *** for instructions, his response is, I dont F.ing know. Or Im not an electrician. Or Im not a plumber. Or better yet, I dont know ******** code. He asked ** to take over the permitting paperwork to speed up our project. We did it. **** learned that hes not licensed to work in ********, so he has his clients do the permit work. When he installed our pool, it sat for three months with water. It had hundreds of tadpoles and frogs, and we had to pay another company $5,000 to clean it. Heres a snapshot of the mess were dealing with after a year: Pool has a leak under the concrete. It cant be fixed without tearing up the concrete Spa has no aerator. Hes said its only intended to be a warm body of waterSpa is a different color than the pool. Told they'd be the same.Mechanical pad leaks and needs to be completely rebuilt Pool sump pump was stolen. Only Region Pools knew it was there ****** lines. He forgot. Were now hiring it out to someone else Never reinstalled the front fence that he took down to bring the pool in Left piles and piles of rocks on our property for us to deal with We havent had the courage to report him due to a real fear of retaliation. But weve now found the courage because we cant watch this happen to any else

We contracted ************ and worked with owner ********************* on our pool installation in 2022. It was a mess from the start -- unorganized contracting process, digging up our power lines because they didn't work with the utilities in advance, horrible communication, surprise charges, you name it.We did our best to muddle through it and held our ground on many things. Our filter needed to be replaced within a month because he put a generic in and didn't tell us (we were promised a Hayward), our pump was broken and got replaced, our gauge was cracked (we replaced), our chlorinator was put in wrong, and the heater never worked properly and he finally just sent a new one (but we're left to install it on our dime). His concrete guy did a subpar job and we're left to deal with major cracks as he's been unresponsive.I've asked for warranty documents multiple times and haven't received them. We had some random guys come clean our pool, and they scratched it and stained the bottom because they had no proper training (they told us they were movers the week before). Our electric cover is already giving us trouble after one season.We had to hire other people to finish his work -- install the heater, install the handrails, redo all the outside plumbing, and so much more.This man is a scam artist. I have a list of referrals a page long of people furious about the quality of Region's work, the fact their work never started and he won't return their money, the lies this man has told them, and the promises he has not kept. Today, he randomly distributed invoices to several customers who have finished pools, and paid in full, or to some, he never even finished the projects or to some, he even screwed up the projects.He is also collecting deposits from new contracts and not moving forward with new pool installations, leaving them hanging without any updates for months on end -- sometimes with a giant hole in their backyard.BUYER, BEWARE. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
