  My car stalled and this company towed it to their facility by request of the local **************** I tried to get my car that evening and Saturday morning. I needed a vehicle release, I had never been through this before. Per their words our hours are the same as the police, Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm. If the county offices are not open to give these releases then they should NOT be able to charge storage for days. (Saturday/ Sunday/ holidays). I tried getting my vehicle Friday night and Saturday and they would not give it to me because of a piece of paper. They know the office are closed and are taking advantage of the public. $400 dollars later,CASH ONLY, I was informed to bring. Why only cash?? I informed the police chief of this incident as well. **** the owner and the son kept saying well you need to talk to the police chief. The police stated they have nothing to do with their fees/ policies. Per the chief of police, they do not have a contract with this company. The *************** call them because they are local. Talk about a crime, I felt like this was robbery. I ran out of gas and did not leave a note on my car! The public need to be aware of this. I have car trouble and they tow it within hours not even 24 hours. This is wrong- if county offices are not open they should not be able to charge the public!!

  WE TOWED MISS KINGS VEHICILE PER REQUEST OF DANVILLE POLICE IT WAS LEFT IN THE PASSING LANE ON 39 AT DARK WITHOUT ANY LIGHTS SO IT WAS A TRAFFIC HAZARD AND LEAVING A NOTE 

  WOULD NOT HAVE MATTERED THE MALE INVOLVED CALLED ****** YORK FROM YORK TOWING AND WAS VERY RUDE SWORE AT HIM CALLED HIM SOME NAMES AND ****** EXPLAINED HE HAD

  TO WAIT UNTIL MONDAY BECAUSE THE  POLICE **** IS CLOSED ON THE **** END TO GET A RELEASE FORM AND COME TO ** WITH CASH AND THE RELEASE FORM TO RETRIVE THE VEHICLE

  WE DO HAVE HRS THEY R 8-4 M-FRIDAY SO IT WAS AFTER HRS WHEN SHE CALLED AND THE POLICE WAS ALSO CLOSED SHE CLAIMS WE SAID WE WERE 9-4 THAT IS NOT TRUE WE OPEN AT 8  M-F

  AND SHE SAYS IT WAS A COUNTY OFFICE IT IS NOT IT WAS DANVILLE POLICE AS SHE STATED IN THE BEGINNING OF HER COMPLAINT CASH ONLY BECAUSE ALL IMPOUNDS R CASH BECAUSE THEY

  CAN CANCEL THE PAYMENT IF THE SO DESIRE SO THIS IS FOR OUR PROTECTION . DANVILLE POLICE DO NOT HAVE A CONTRACT WITH ** BUT IT WAS AFTER DARK IN A TURN LANE AND THAT

  IS DANGEROUS AND DANVILLE POLICE DECIDED TO HAVE IT IMPOUNDED SORRY FOR THE INCONVENICE BUT WE R ONLY DOING OUR JOB AND A REFUND IS NOT HAPPENING BECAUSE WE HAVE A BUSINESS TO RUN AND IF WE GAVE EVERYBODY THAT GOT UPSET WITH ** BECAUSE OF THERE MISTAKES THERE MONEY BACK THAN WE WOULD B BROKE. AS A MATTER OF FACT HRS LATER OUR TOW 

  COMPANY WORKED A SERIOUS ACCIDENT AT THAT SAME LOCATION THAT COULD HAVE VERY EASILY INVOLVED MISS KINGS VEHICLE HAD IT STILL BEEN THERE. ************* DIDNT LIKE THAT WE

  HAVE RULES AS FAR AS WE AND THE POLICE **** ARE CLOSED ON **** ENDS SO SHE COULDNT GET HER CAR TILL MONDAY BUT THOSE ARE THE RULES AND NOT OURS AND WE CANT CHANGE

  THEM JUST TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY THAT IS JUST NOT HOW THAT WORKS ONCE AGAIN SORRY .
