I am freight broker that hired a trucking company that is insured by Insurance Program Administrators, Inc. Their client damaged freight of my client during the transportation of goods. I have filed a claim on my clients behalf and have only received a claim number from IPA, 122021-Cargo-1 (in December 2021) . Despite countless emails and calls, the adjuster has only contacted my email once, *********************** apologizing and telling me he will update me tomorrow. That was almost 3 months ago now. I've never dealt with a second rate, impossible to get any human on the phone insurance company in my 11 years in transportation claims. I'm beginning to wonder if this is even a legit insurance company and I need to get to the bottom of this claim and thought I would alert the BBB because there have been so many redflags dealing with this "company".Business response

The complainant is a third party in property damage claim to cargo while in transport. **************** was advised at the reporting of the claim, December 2, at a follow up on December 9, and again on January 10th and 20th that information was needed from an insured to determine coverage. A decision could not be made regarding coverage or payment of the claim until that information was received. Despite the complainants assertions, this is standard for all claims where coverage is in question. He was contacted several times and advised that his daily calls were unnecessary and would not be returned as we would contact him when a decision was made. Ultimately, the insured provided the required documents, coverage was afforded, and the claim was paid. This claim is already concluded and no further action is necessary.

I am filling a complaint w/ this company for the reasons that I acquired a loss due to a client of theirs hitting my vehicle on Aug. 20, 2021 and haven't had anybody reach out to me to resolve this matter even after I filled a claim w/ them on Aug. 23, 2021. I received one email from them after filling claim online thru their website and that's the last I've heard from them. I have left many many emails and voice messages and still to the day I haven't gotten my vehicle fixed. This is very frustrating and would greatly appreciate your help, thank you.
