I had a phone conversation with *************************** on 8/5 or 6/24 regarding the cemetary fees I needed to pay for my wifes, *************************, funeral. ****** said the fee would be $800. She also said since we might go past 2 pm the day of funeral, which was 8/8/24, that there would be an additional fee of $250. ****** said I could pay that fee at the cemetary, after the funeral. I told her I would pay it up front, that I did not want to mess with payments at cemetary. ****** said she would refund the $250 dollars if the funeral did not go past 2 pm. I paid the $800 and additional $250, bringing total to $1050, on 8/7/24. The funeral took place on 8/8/24, but did not go past 2 pm. I emailed ****** a couple of days after funeral asking to please mail $250 refund to me since the funeral did not go past 2 pm. After a couple of emails sent to ******, with no response,****** finally emailed me back sayimg she was out of town. In here email she said when she got back to her office she would mail me the refund. That was over two weeks a ago, I've tried to contact ****** saying I have received refund, but I get no responce. I talked with owner of cemetary and she said she did not charge extra fees for going padt any time limit.Business response

I received an email from **************** about the $250 refund on August 12th, I responded to him on Tuesday, August 13th letting him know that I was out of the office until the following week and would mail it when I returned back to the office( I never stated a specific day of the week). I had a family emergency with my mother and had to leave for ********* and was out of the office and unavailable until I finally returned to my office on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. I was catching up on paperwork and pass bills, including mailing Mr. ******* check when I received a phone call. I attached a copy of the check I wrote him on August 8th, I meant to give **************** at the cemetery and the check I wrote on August 4th.Business response

I received an email from **************** about the $250 refund on August 12th, I responded to him on Tuesday, August 13th letting him know that I was out of the office until the following week and would mail it when I returned back to the office( I never stated a specific day of the week).
